Citylife.am- Երգ՝ երաժշտության համեմատաբար պարզ և տարածված տարատեսակներից մեկը, որն իր մեջ միավորում է պոետիկական տեքստն ու ոչ բարդ մտապահվող մեղեդին: Դուք նույնպես պրոպագանդել եք հայկական երգն ու երաժշտությոունը: Ինչու՞ ընտեցիք հենց այս մասնագիտությունը:
Արմեն– Որպես մասնագիտություն շատ պատահական է ստացվել: Իհարկե ավարտել եմ Կոմիտասի անվան պետական կոնսերվատորիայի դասական բաժինը, բայց մտադրություն չունեի կշարունակելու, այն էլ՝ էստրադային ժանրում, քանի որ ունեմ նաև տնտեսագետի կրթություն: Այդ շրջանում դա էր պլաններումս՝ որպես մասնագիտություն: Սակայն արի ու տես շատ ժամանակ չի ստացվում այնպես, ինչպես պլանավորում ես: 
Citylife.am- Ձեզ ճանաչում ենք դեռևս <<Հայաստանի ձայնը>> նախագծից: Ի՞նչ տվեց Ձեզ այն բացի ճանաչելիությունից:
Արմեն– Այդ նաագիծն էր պատճառը, որ վերջնական փոխեց ճակատագիրը իմ քայլերի: Սկիզբ դրեց այն ամենի, ինչին ես մինչև այսօր գնում եմ:
Citylife.am- Ասում են, որ շատ հաճախ երգն օգնում է ասել այն, ինչ չենք համարձակվում ասել բառերով: Իսկ Ձեզ օգնու՞մ է դուրս գալ դժվար և վատ իրավիճակներից:
Արմեն– Այո, ինձ համար էլ է երգը ասելիք և լավ միջոց արտահայտելու ներսումս կուտակվածը:

Արմեն– Շատ տարբեր են կարծիքները այն ամենի մասին, ինչ արել եմ և մինչև հիմա անում եմ: Եթե մանրամասնեմ, ապա կասեմ, որ տեսահոլովակ ունեցած երկու երգերս վատ չեն ընդունվել, սակայն այն, ինչ արվեց Հակոբ Հակոբյանի հետ, անսպասելի էր և կարող եմ ասել լայն տարածում գտավ համացանցում: Բոլորը միայն լավն էին խոսում: Ամեն նոր աշխատանքից հետո սպասում էին նորին: Դուք էլ լավ գիտեք մեր հանդիսատեսը ամենաքննադատողն է և գոհացնել նրան մի քիչ բարդ է:
