Ֆրանսահայ ֆուտբոլիստ, աշխարհի և Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն Յուրի Ջորկաեֆը անդրադարձել է Հայաստանի ազգային թիմի ավագ, «Մանչեսթեր Յունայթեդ»-ի կիսապաշտպան Հենրիխ Մխիթարյանին:
«Երկար տարիներ է, ինչ գիտեմ Հենրիխի ընտանիքին: Միշտ կապ ենք պահպանում միմյանց հետ: Նրանք շատ-շատ լավ մարդիկ են և հաճախակի են տեսնում նրանց, երբ Հայաստանում եմ լինում: Կարևորում եմ դա, քանի որ մենք քիչ ենք, բայց պետք է աջակցենք միմյանց»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` Ջորկաեֆի խոսքը մեջ է բերում Sky Sport-ը: Աշխարհի նախկին չեմպիոնը խոսել է նաև այն մասին, որ արդեն ավարտված մրցաշրջանում Մխիթարյանը չէր հայտնվում «Մանչեսթեր Յունայթեդ»-ի հայտացուցակում:
«Հենրիխը լավ տղա է, նա երբեք չի բողոքում: Մրցաշրջանի մեկնարկում նա անգամ պահեստայինների նստարանին տեղ չուներ, սակայն խաղից խաղ կարողացավ իր տեղը հաստատել հիմնական կազմում: Նա միշտ քրտնաջան աշխատում է և իր առաջ նոր մարտահրավերներ դնում: Մենք բոլորս շատ հպարտ ենք Հայաստանում Մխիթարյանով»,-ասել է հայազգի ֆուտբոլիստը:
Ջորկաեֆը փաստել է, որ հաշվի առնելով նախորդ մրցաշրջանի վստահ ավարտը՝ Մխիթարյանն այս տարի կլինի իր մարզավիճակի գագաթնակետին. «Մանչեսթեր Յունայթեդ»-ին պետք է մեկը, ով կփոխի խաղը երկրորդ կեսում` դա Հենրիխն է: Նրան մեծ մրցաշրջան է սպասում»,-եզրափակել է Եվրոպայի և աշխարհի նախկին չեմպիոնը:
2016/17 մրցաշրջանում Հայաստանի ազգային թիմի ավագ Հենրիխ Մխիթարյանը դարձավ ՈւԵՖԱ-ի Եվրոպայի լիգայի գավաթակիր` դառնալով կարևոր գոլի հեղինակ եզրափակիչում:
