«Only Girls» խումբը, որի գեղարվեստական ղեկավարն արվեստի վաստակավոր գործիչ Նաիրա Գուրջինյանն է, հուլիսի 1-ից 5-ը Լիտվայի Յուոդկրանտե ծովափնյա քաղաքում կայացած «Baltic voice 2017» միջազգային մրցույթից վերադարձել է հաղթանակով:
Նաիրա Գուրջինյանը խմբի հաջողության մասին առաջինը պատմել է BRAVO.am-ին. «Մրցույթի առաջին օրն աղջիկները կատարեցին իմ ու Եգոր Գլումովի հայրիկի հեղինակած երգը, իսկ երկրորդ օրը՝ «Բիթլզ»-ի «Hey Jude» հայտնի երգը՝ նոր գործիքավորմամբ, որը մեզ համար պատրաստել էր Ավստրիայում ապրող երաժիշտ Դավիթ Մարգարյանը։ Մասնակիցներ կային Բելառուսից, Բուլղարիայից, Իսրայելից, Ուկրաինայից, Լատվիայից, Լիտվայից եւ այլն։ Հյուրանոցից լաստանավով տեղաշարժվում էինք չքնաղ փոքրիկ քաղաք Յուոդկրանտե, որտեղ էլ խմբերը ելույթ էին ունենում։ Ուժեղ մրցակիցներ էին, մինչեւ վերջին րոպեն մտածում էինք՝ կհաղթի Լատվիան։ Ժյուրին հաղթանակը տվեց մեզ, տիտղոսը մերն էր, բայց գումարային պարգեւ չենք ստացել։ Ինձ համար ամենից կարեւորն էր, որ Լատվիայի խմբի ղեկավարն ու կազմակերպիչները եւս իրենց հիացմունքը հայտնեցին»։
«Baltic voice 2017» միջազգային մրցույթ-փառատոնին մասնակցում են երիտասարդ կատարողներ ու պարողներ, երաժշտական խմբերի մրցույթին մասնակցել է շուրջ 18 խումբ. ««Only Girls»-ի կազմում երգում են յոթ աղջիկ, ցավոք, մեկը բացակայում էր, քանի որ սովորում է Ավստրիայում, այդ պատճառով ելույթ ունեցան վեց հոգով։ Աղջիկներս ճանապարհին էլ անընդմեջ ակապելա երգում էին, մյուս մասնակիցներն իմ աղջիկների շուրջն էին հավաքվել։ Նաեւ նավում հայտնի «Կիլիկիա»-ն երգեցինք հայերենով ու անգլերենով, պարզապես հուզված ու հիացած էին»։
