Այն բանից հետո, երբ 16-ամյա հնդիկ աղջկա ինքնազգացողությունը վատացավ, քաշն անկում ապրեց և փսխոցներ սկսվեցին, բժիշկները նրան հետազոտեցին և պարզեցին, որ ստամոքսի 80%-ը տարօրինակ զանգվածով է լցված: Վիրահատության ժամանակ պարզվեց, որ դա ոչ այլ ինչ էր, քանի մազերի խուրձ, որն աղջիկը գաղտնի կերել էր մի քանի տարի շարունակ:
