Գիտնականների կարծիքով ժամանակակից կանայք սեքսից այլևս հաճույք չեն ստանում, և դրան բավականաչափ ուշադրություն չեն դարձնում:
Փորձագետները հարցում են արել 18 և բարձր տարիք ունեցող 1000 կանանց շրջանում:
Հարցվածների 51 տոկոսը կարծում է, որ շաբաթվա մեջ միայն մի քանի անգամ սեքսով զբաղվելը բավական է: Սակայն նրանցից միայն 30 տոկոսն է այդ նշված քանակով սեռական ակտ ունեցել, իսկ 66 տոկոսը սեքսով է զբավել շաբաթական միայն անգամ, կամ դրանից էլ պակաս: Հարցվածների միայն 42 տոկոսն է կարծում, որ սեռական կյանքը շատ կարևոր է օրգանիզմի ընդհանուր առողջության համար: Հենց այստեղից էլ կարելի է եզրակացնել, որ կանայք չեն գիտակցում, թե սեքսը կյանքում որքան կարևոր դեր է խաղում:
Գիտնականներն ապացուցել են, որ սիրով զբաղվելը նպաստում է գլխուղեղի ավելի լավ աշխատանքին և մարդկանց ավելի խելացի է դարձնում: Այն օգնում է երիտասարդ տեսք ունենալ. կանայք, ովքեր շաբաթական 4 անգամ սեքսով են զբաղվում, 10 տարով ավելի երիտասարդ են երևում: Ավելի վաղ իրականացրած հարցման արդյունքները փաստել են, որ կանայք ավելի հաճախ շոկոլադի մասին են մտածում, քան սեքսի: Սեքսուալ կյանքի կարևոր հանգամանք է շուրթերի ձևը: Այն կանայք, ովքեր ունեն ավելի ուռած շուրթեր, 12 անգամ ավելի շատ հնարավորություն ունեն հասնել օրգազմի:
