Կալավանի հնագույն դամբարանադաշտում ընթանում են հնագիտական պեղումներ

Գեղարքունիքի մարզի Կալավան համայնքում գտնվող Ք. ա. 2-1 հազարամյակի «Դամբարանադաշտ» հուշարձանի տարածքում հուլիսի 3-ից սկսվել եւ մինչեւ օգոստոսի սկիզբ շարունակվելու են հնագիտական պեղումների աշխատանքներ: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ մշակույթի նախարարության «Պատմամշակութային արգելոց-թանգարանների եւ պատմական միջավայրի պահպանության ծառայություն» ՊՈԱԿ պատմական միջավայրի պահպանության Գեղարքունիքի մարզային ծառայության պետ Գոռ Գասպարյանը, այստեղ առաջին պեղումները սկսվել են 2004 թվականին, հայ-ֆրանսիական արշավախմբի համագործակցության շրջանակներում եւ ավարտվել են 2008 թվականին` շատ հետաքրքիր արդյունքներով: Նախկին պեղումներից տաս տարի անց վերսկսվել են պեղումները արդեն հայ-գերմանական համագործակցության շրջանակներում: Մի կողմից ՀՀ ԳԱԱ հնագիտության եւ ազգագրության ինստիտուտի արշավախումբն է՝ գիտաշխատող Բորիս Գասպարյանի ղեկավարությամբ, մյուս կողմից՝ Գերմանիայի Դաշնային Հանրապետության Մոնրեպոի գիտահետազոտական ինստիտուտի արշավախումբը՝ Արիել Մալինսկի Բուլեռի ղեկավարությամբ: «Կալավան-2 հնավայրը մոտ 40000 տարվա վաղեմության հուշարձան է եւ ունի մոտ երկու հեկտար տարածություն: Հնարավոր է մարդը այստեղ հիմնավորվել է այն պատճառով, որ այստեղ եղել է տարբեր կենդանիներով` հատկապես բիզոններով հարուստ միջավայր: Այդ ժամանակ, ըստ մասնագիտական եզրակացությունների, տարածքը անտառածածկ չի եղել, իսկ բիզոնը բաց լանդշաֆտների կենդանի է: Գտածոների շարքում խոշոր կաթնասունների, եւ հիմնականում բիզոնների ոսկրային մնացորդներ են, ինչպես նաեւ՝ այստեղ հաստատված հնագույն մարդկանց կողմից տարբեր քարատեսակներից պատրաստված աշխատանքային գործիքներ եւ զենքեր: Կարծում եմ, որ վերջին պեղումների արդյունքում հողի երես դուրս կգան պատմության նորահայտ արժեքներ, որոնք նորովի լույս կսփռեն հնագիտության ու Հին Հայաստանի պատմության՝ մինչ այժմ եղած պատկերացումների վրա, իսկ Կալավանում նոր վերելք կապրի արդեն սկզբնավորված հնագիտական տուրիզմը»,-ներկայացրեց Գոռ Գասպարյանը:
