Ժողովրդական հավատալիքների համաձայն՝ այն հաջողություն եւ առողջություն է բերում: Տարածված կարծիքի համաձայն՝ հաջողությունը մշտապես ձիու վրա է, իսկ ձիուն անհրաժեշտ է պայտել: Այն հաջողությանը ցույց կտա ձեր տան ճանապարհը: Անչափ կարեւոր է պայտը ճիշտ տեղադրել: Դրա տեղադրման հաջող ընտրության դեպքում տանը երջանկություն եւ առատություն կլինի, իսկ վիշտն ու հիվանդությունները կշրջանցեն:
