Տնտեսագետ Վիլեն Խաչատրյանը Tert.am-ի հետ զրույցում անդրադառնալով պետական պարտքի 6.1 միլիարդը գերազանցելուն նշեց, որ այդ ցուցանիշը կարճաժամկետ հատվածում մտահոգիչ չէ, իսկ երկարաժամկետ առումով կարող է վտանգավոր լինել: Նա նշեց, որ դա մտահոգիչ կլինի, երբ առաջանա պարտքի սպասարկման խնդիր, ինչն այս պահին առկա չէ: Տնտեսագետը նկատեց, որ հաճախ իշխանության ներկայացուցիչները այդ հանգամանքն են մատնանշում, երբ ասում են, թե պետական պարտքը չի հասել վտանգավորության շեմին:
«Բայց եթե մենք դիտարկում ենք, թե որքան տնտեսական աճ ունենք, որքան կոնկրետ զարգացման հեռանկարներ կան, նկատելի է, որ 2021 թվականի դրությամբ, երբ արդեն մոտենում է եվրոբոնդերի սպասարկման ժամանակահատվածը, մենք կարող ենք կանգնել խնդիրների առաջ: Մեր տնտեսական աճի տեմպերը թույլ չեն տալու տվյալ ժամանակահատվածի համար սպասարկել մեր պարտքի մոտ 1 միլիարդ դոլարի հասնող տվյալ տարվա բեռը»,-ասաց նա:
Անդրադառնալով ներքին պարտքին` տնտեսագետը այն ևս մտահոգիչ համարեց և նշեց, որ ներքին պարտքի տոկոսադրույքներն էլ են բարձր, առավելևս եթե դրան էլ գումարենք համախառն արտաքին պարտք հասկացողությունը, որը ներառում է արտաքին աշխարհի կազմակերպությունների պարտքը:
Ինչ վերաբերում է պարտքի օգտագործման արդյունավետությանը, ապա Վիլեն Խաչատրյանն ասաց, որ այդտեղ խնդիր է տեսնում: Նա թեև անհրաժեշտություն համարեց ենթակառուցվածքների խնդիրների լուծմանն ուղղված աշխատանքները, քանի որ դրանք հետագայում երկար տարիների ընթացքում ապահովում են որոշակի առումով տնտեսության համար շահույթներ, սակայն նշեց, որ ենթակառուցվածքներին ուղղված միջոցներում կան ռիսկեր:
