Исследователи выяснили, что существует взаимосвязь между месяцем, в который родился человек, и его предрасположенностью к всевозможным заболеваниям.

Группа американских исследователей из Колумбийского университета под руководством Мэри Боланд проанализировала данные о состоянии здоровья 1 749 400 пациентов, которые родились с 1900 по 2000 годы и наблюдались в Медицинском центре Колумбийского университета с 1985 по 2013 годы. Все эти люди страдали от 1688 различных заболеваний. 

Как утверждают авторы исследования, статистика свидетельствует, что риск развития 55 из более чем полутора тысяч изученных болезней напрямую зависит от месяца, в который родился человек. Например, ученые выяснили, что астмой больше других рискуют заболеть люди, родившиеся в июле и октябре, синдром дефицита внимания и гиперактивности грозит родившимся в ноябре, а от сердечной недостаточности, фибрилляции предсердий и проблем с митральным клапаном обычно страдают появившиеся на свет в марте.

Ученые заявляют, что, согласно статистике, самые здоровые люди рождаются в мае, а больше всех проблем со здоровьем испытывают те, кто родился в октябре. Подробнее с результатами исследования можно ознакомиться в The Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association.
