Հայաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը և Վրաստանի փոխվարչապետ, արտաքին գործերի նախարար Միխեիլ Ջանելիձեն հուլիսի 18-ին ուղերձներ են փոխանակել՝ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության և Վրաստանի Հանրապետության միջև դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների հաստատման 25-ամյակի կապակցությամբ:

ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության եւ հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից, իր ուղերձում ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարը նշում է, որ 25 տարին հայ և վրացի ժողովուրդների դարավոր տարեգրության համար ընդամենը մի ակնթարթ է, սակայն անկախությունը վերականգնած երկու երկրների նորօրյա պատմության մեջ այն բնորոշում է բարիդրացիական միջպետական հարաբերությունների հաստատման ու կայացման կարևորագույն մի ժամանակաշրջան, որը հարուստ է նշանակալի ձեռքբերումներով ու հաջողություններով:

Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանն ընդգծում է, որ Հայաստանը շահագրգիռ է անել հնարավորը՝ ավանդական կապերի վրա խարսխված հարաբերությունները միասնական ուժերով էլ ավելի ամրապնդելու ու զարգացնելու ուղղությամբ՝ հավելելով, որ երկու երկրների փոխգործակցության ողջ ներուժի բացահայտումը թույլ կտա առավել արդյունավետ օգտագործել մեր հնարավորությունները: Հայաստանի արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչության ղեկավարը կարևորում է հայ-վրացական ավանդական հարաբերությունների ամրապնդման գործում վիրահայության նշանակալի դերակատարությունը, ովքեր բարեկամության կամուրջ են հանդիսանում երկու երկրների միջև:

Եզրափակելով նամակը՝ Հայաստանի ԱԳ նախարարը համոզմունք է հայտնում, որ Հայաստանի և Վրաստանի արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչություններն այսուհետ ևս կշարունակեն արդյունավետ համագործակցության միջոցով իրենց կարևոր նպաստը բերել երկու երկրների միջև հարաբերությունների զարգացմանը:

Վրաստանի ԱԳ նախարարն իր ուղերձում նշում է, որ ավելի քան երկու տասնամյակ ընթացքում՝ անկախության ձեռքբերումից հետո Վրաստանն ու Հայաստանը զարգացրել են փոխըմբռնման և ընդհանուր շահի վրա հիմնված հարաբերություններ: Նախարարը նշում է, որ երկու երկրներն արդեն գրանցել են էական առաջընթաց տարբեր ուղղություններով՝ հավելելով, որ դեռևս առկա են լայն հնարավորություններ:

Միխեիլ Ջանելիձեն գոհունակությամբ նշում է, որ առկա միջպետական սերտ հարաբերություններն ամբողջովին արտացոլում են ժողովուրդների միջև ավանդական բարեկամությունը, որը կառուցված է ամուր պատմական հիմքերի և ազատության և ժողովրդավարության ընդհանուր սկզբունքների վրա:

Վրաստանի արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչության ղեկավարը, ընդգծելով Վրաստանի և Հայաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունների միջև սերտ և արդյունավետ համագործակցությունը, պատրաստակամություն է հայտնում ձեռնարկելու բոլոր անհրաժեշտ միջոցները՝ երկկողմ և բազմակողմ ձևաչափերում համագործակցության հետագա ամրապնդման նպատակով:
