Շատերն անքնության դեմ պայքարում են ալկոհոլի միջոցով, սակայն դա միայն խորացնում է խնդիրը:
Թեև ալկոհոլն իսկապես օգնում է քնել, սակայն խստորեն ազդում է քնի որակի վրա, ինչի պատճառը հիմնականում դրա միզամուղ հատկությունն է:

Քնի որակը բարելավելու համար պետք է հետևել այս 7 խորհուրդներին:

1. Պառկեք քնելու և ամեն օր արթնացեք նույն ժամին: Այդ կերպ դուք օրգանիզմը կսովորեցնեք որոշակի ռեժիմի:
2. Օգտագործեք ննջարանը միայն քնելու համար, ննջարանում մի՛ նայեք հեռուստացույց, մի՛ լսեք ռադիո և այլն:
3. Ամեն օր զբաղվեք սպորտով, սակայն դա ավարտեք քնելուց առնվազն 4 ժամ առաջ:
4. Քնելուց 6 ժամ առաջ մի՛ խմեք կոֆեին պարունակող ըմպելիքներ: Եթե դա չի օգնում, ապա պետք է ընդհանրապես հրաժարվել դրանից:
5. Գիշերն անջատեք բոլոր էլեկտրասարքերը: Հեռուստացույցի կամ համակարգչի լույսը կարող է զգալիորեն բարդացնել քնելու գործընթացն ու վատացնել քնի որակը: Պետք չէ ննջարանում ունենալ լուսավոր էլեկտրոնային ժամացույցներ:
6. Քնելուց երկու ժամ առաջ հրաժարվեք զգացական ֆիլմեր դիտելուց կամ հուզիչ գրքեր ընթերցելուց: Անկողնում տեղավորվեք միայն այն ժամանակ, երբ զգում եք, որ ցանկանում եք քնել:
7. Եթե դուք չեք քնել 40 րոպեի ընթացքում, ապա վեր կացեք մահճակալից: Գնացեք մեկ այլ սենյակ կամ խոհանոց, լոգանք ընդունեք, խմեք թեյ կամ հանգստացնող ըմպելիք: Վերադարձեք միայն այն դեպքում, երբ զգում եք, որ իսկապես ցանկանում եք քնել:
