Այն լեռը, որին մոտեցել եք այժմ, շոշափելի չէ Սինա լեռան նման, որ կրակով էր այրվում և պատած էր մշուշով, խավարով ու մրրիկով, ուր փողն էր հնչում և լսվում էր Աստծու պատգամող ձայնը։ Ժողովուրդը, որ լսում էր այդ ձայնը, աղաչում էր, որ այն չլսի կրկին, որովհետև սարսափած էր այն հրամանից, որ ասում էր. «Ով որ մոտենա լեռանը, թեկուզ մի անասուն, քարկոծվելով պիտի մեռնի»։

 Այնքան ահավոր էր տեսարանը, որ Մովսեսն էլ ասում էր. «Սարսափից դողում եմ»։ Դուք, սակայն, մոտեցել եք Սիոն լեռանը, կենդանի Աստծու քաղաքին, երկնային Երուսաղեմին, հրեշտակների անհամար բանակներին։ Մոտեցել եք երկնքում արձանագրված Աստծու անդրանիկ զավակների բերկրալի հավաքույթին, Աստծուն, որ բոլորի դատավորն է, կատարելության հասած արդարների հոգիներին, Նոր Ուխտի միջնորդին՝ Հիսուսին և նրա թափած արյունին, որ ավելի լավ արդարություն է պահանջում, քան Աբելի արյունը։

 Զգո՛ւյշ եղեք, չլինի թե մերժեք Աստծու խոսքը լսել, որովհետև եթե նրա հրամանները մարդկանց փոխանցող Մովսեսին չհնազանդվողներն ազատում չունեցան, մենք բնա՛վ ազատում չենք ունենա, եթե թիկունք դարձնենք Աստծուն, որ երկնքից է իր խոսքն ուղղում մեզ։ Նրա ձայնը երկիրը շարժեց այն ժամանակ, իսկ այժմ մնում է նրա խոստումը, որ ասում է. «Մի անգամ ևս պիտի շարժեմ. և ոչ միայն երկիրը, այլ երկինքն էլ»։

 «Մի անգամ ևս» խոսքը ցույց է տալիս, որ ստեղծագործության մեջ խախտված բաները կփոխվեն, մինչդեռ անշարժ մնացածները անփոփոխ կմնան։
