145 երեխաների հորը մեղավոր են ճանաչել բազմակնության մեջ

Կանադայի Բրիտանական Կոլումբիա նահանգի գերագույն դատարանը 61-ամյա Ուինսթոն Բլեքմորին ու նրա նախկին փեսային՝Ջեյմս Օլերին մեղավոր է ճանաչել բազմակնության մեջ, հայտնում է Yahoo News-ը։
1990-ից 2014 թթ․ Բլեքմորը ամուսնացել է 21 կանանց հետ եւ ունի 145 երեխա։ Նրա 53-ամյա փեսան հինգ կին ունի։ Երկուսին էլ սպառնում է մինչեւ հինգ տարվա ազատազրկում։
Նշում են, որ նախկինում նրանք եղել են Մորմոնների ֆունդամենտալ եկեղեցու եպիսկոպոսներ։ Օլերն ու Բլեքմորը ապրում են Բաունթիֆուլ բնակավայրում՝ համայնք, որը հիմնվել է 1946-ին ու միավորում է բազմակնության 1․5 կողմնակիցներին։ Նրանք իրենք են իրենց համար սնունդ հայթայթում, համայնքի տնտեսությունը բնական փոխանակության սկզբունքի վրա է կառուցված։
Դատավորը ուշադրություն է դարձրել այն հանգամանքին, որ Բլեքմորը չի հերքում, որ շատ կանայք ունի, ու որ իր բոլոր ամուսնությունները Աստծո կողմից օրհնված են, Երեղեցու կանոնների համապատասխան։
Դատախազությունը 20 տարվա ընթացքում փորձել է մեղադրանքներ առաջադրել Օլերի ու Բլեքմորի դեմ։ Խնդիրն այն էր, որ բազմակնության արգելքը խախտում է հավատքի ազատությունը։ 2011-ին դատական կարգով որոշվել է, որ բազմակնության հետեւանքները հիմքեր են տալիս կրոնական ազատությունները սահմանափակելու համար։ Արդյունքում տղամարդկանց պատասխանատվության են կանչել 2014-ին։
Բլեքմորի փաստաբանը դատավարության ընթացքում հայտնել; է, որ եթե իր հաճախորդին մեղավոր ճանաչեն, նա վիճարկելու է բազմակնությունը արգելող նորմերը։
19-րդ դարում մորմոնները հրաժարվել են բազմակնությունից, սակայն ֆունդամենտալիստ մորմոնները նախկինի պես հետեւում են այդ ավանդույթին։
