Մենք բոլորս ջանք չենք խնայում ավելի առողջ կյանքով ապրելու համար՝ ուտում ենք օգտակար սնունդ, շատ ջուր խմում և մարզվում։ Սակայն կան բազմաթիվ վատ սովորություններ, որոնցից պետք է ազատվել, եթե ուզում ենք իսկապես ուրախ ու լեցուն կյանք ունենալ։ Խոսքն ամենևին էլ շուտ քնելու կամ արագ սննդից հրաժարվելու մասին չէ։ Կան «թունավոր» սովորություններ, որոնք այնպես են մտել մեր կյանք, որ հաճախ չենք էլ գիտակցում, որ անում ենք դա, սակայն դրանց վնասակար ազդեցությունը մենք կրում ենք ամեն օր։

Խոսել այն մասին, թե որքան զբաղված ենք մենք

Շատ աշխատելը հպարտանալու տեղ է տալիս, բայց միայն շատ աշխատելը բավարար չէ։ Վերջ տվեք օգտագործել «զբաղված» բառը՝ Ձեր արժանիքներն ընդգծելու համար։ Դա վանում է մարդկանց։

Վերջին պահին պլանները չեղարկելը

Վերջին պահին հայտարարելը, որ չեք գնում հանդիպման կամ այլ պլաններ չեղարկելն իրականում շատ տգեղ սովորություն է. դա վանում է մարդկանց ու ստիպում մտածել, որ Դուք վստահելի ընկեր չեք։  Սա նշանակում է, որ Դուք չեք հարգում այլ մարդկանց ժամանակն ու ջանքերը։

Մշտապես բամբասելը

Աշխարհում այնքան հիանալի բան կա, որոնց մասին կարելի է խոսել՝ սեր, արվեստ, քաղաքականություն և այլն։ Իսկ ինչու՞ ենք մենք այս ամենը թողած՝ շարունակ խոսում այլ մարդկանց մասին ու այն էլ՝ վատը։

Ճիշտ է, միշտ չէ, որ բամբասանքը վատն է լինում, բայց մեծամասամբ այդպես է։ Պետք է հասկանալ, որ մշտական բամբասանքը խմելու, ծխելու ու թմրանյութերի նման մի բան է։

Ցածր ինքնագնահատական

Հիշեք՝ վատ բառերը բացասաբար են ազդում ուղեղի ու մարմնի վրա. սա գիտությունն է ասում։ Ինքներդ Ձեր մասին վատը մտածելով՝ Դուք չեք էլ պատկերացնում՝ որքան մեծ վնաս եք հասցնում Ձեզ։ Ձեր բառապաշարից հեռացրեք «ոչ», «չեմ կարող», «ժամանակ չունեմ» ու նմանատիպ այլ արտահայտությունները։

Խոսել նաև զրուցակցի փոխարեն

Այնքան տհաճ է, երբ Դուք անընդհատ պատմում եք Ձեր մասին՝ չթողնելով, որ զրուցակիցն էլ արտահայտի իր կարծիքն ու մտքերը, կամ էլ չմտածելով՝ հետաքրքրու՞մ է արդյոք Ձեր պատմածը նրան, թե՞ ոչ։ Այսպես Դուք վանում եք մարդկանց, դառնում անցանկալի զրուցակից։

Ուշանալ

Անընդհատ ուշանալը կարող է նշանակել, որ Ձեր ժամանակը Ձեզ համար ավելի թանկ է, քան այն մարդունը, ում ստիպում եք սպասել։ Անընդհատ ուշացողներն անկազմակերպ ու հիմար մարդու տպավորություն են թողնում։

Թաքուն հուսալ, որ այլ մարդիկ կձախողեն

Schadenfreude անվանում են այն երևույթը, երբ մարդիկ ուրախանում են ուրիշների անհաջողությունների վրա։ Գիտությունը բացատրում է, որ դա ստիպում է մեզ ավելի լավ զգալ, երբ մենք ցածր ինքնագնահատական ունենք կամ վախենում ենք որևէ բանից։ Երբ հանկարծ Ձեր դեմքին ժպիտ զգաք՝ իմանալով, որ որևէ մեկը կորցրել է աշխատամքը կամ ձախողել ինչ-որ նախագիծ, պարզապես տվեք ինքներդ Ձեզ այս երեք հարցը. «ինչու՞ է սա ինձ ուրախացնում», «ինչու՞ ես չեմ ուզում, որ նա հաջողության հասնի», «ինչու՞ եմ ես կարծում, թե նա արժանի է դրան»։
