ՀՀ ԱԻ նախախար Դավիթ Տոնոյանը հուլիսի 27-ին ընդունեց ԱՄՆ Կանզաս նահանգի Ազգային Գվարդիայի (KSNG) պատվիրակությանը՝ Կանզաս նահանգի ազգային գվարդիայի գեներալ-ադյուտանտ, գեներալ-մայոր Լի Թաֆանելիի գլխավորությամբ:  Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտակարգ իրավիճակների նախարարությունից: 

Հանդիպումն իրականացվել է այս տարվա հուլիսի 18-28-ը ԱՄՆ Կանզաս նահանգի ազգային գվարդիայի և Միացյալ Թագավորության 6-րդ գումարտակի փորձագետների կողմից  առաջին օգնության, կենսապահովման հիմունքների և վտանգավոր նյութերի հետ աշխատանքի թեմաներով անցկացվող դասընթացների համատեքստում: 

Ողջունելով հյուրերին՝ ԱԻ նախարարն ընդգծեց ՀՀ ԱԻՆ-ի, Կանզաս նահանգի ազգային գվարդիայի և Միացյալ Թագավորության 6-րդ գումարտակի միջև համագործակցության արդյունավետությունն ու բարձր մակարդակը՝ շեշտելով, որ միջազգային համագործակցությունը նպաստում է փրկարարական ուժերի կարողությունների հզորացմանը: 

Կողմերը քննարկեցին փրկարարների վերապատրաստման հետագա ծրագրերն ու հետագա համատեղ վարժանքները նոր մեթոդաբանությամբ իրականացնելու հնարավորությունները: Ամերիկյան կողմը պատրաստակամություն հայտնեց իր փորձառությունը ներդնել Հայաստանի համայնքներում վաղ ազդարարման համակարգերի զարգացման, բնակչության իրազեկվածության մակարդակի բարձրացմանն ուղղված աշխատանքների իրականացման և աղետների ու ճգնաժամերի ընթացքում փրկարարական ուժերի կառավարման մեթոդաբանության կատարելագործման գործընթացներում: 

Նշենք, որ հուլիսի 27-ից 28-ը ՀՀ ԱԻ նախարար Դավիթ Տոնոյանը և Կանզաս նահանգի ազգային գվարդիայի գեներալ -ադյուտանտ, գեներալ-մայոր Լի Թաֆանելին ներկա կլինեն ՀՀ Շիրակի մարզի Ախուրյան քաղաքի հրշեջ-փրկարարական ջոկատին կից վարժահրապարակում և Կոտայքի մարզում (գյուղ Արգել) գտնվող «Լուսակերտ» ուսումնական կենտրոնի վարժահրապարակում իրականացվող համատեղ ուսումնավարժություններին:
