 Վերանորոգումից հետո վերաբացվեց Գյումրու Լևոն Մադոյան փողոցը: Փողոցը հիմնանորոգվել է համայնքային բյուջեով: Մոտ 3 հազար քառակուսի մետր տարածքն ընդգրկում է Տերյան-Գորկի փողոցների միջև ընկած հատվածը:

Գյումրու քաղաքապետ Սամվել Բալասանյանը շնորհավորեց բնակիչներին, խնդրեց պահպանել փողոցի հարակից տարածքների մաքրությունը՝ միաժամանակ խոստանալով, հնարավորությունների առկայության դեպքում անդրադառնալ փողոցի այն հատվածին, որը Գորկի փողոցը կապում է Տիգրան Մեծ փողոցին «Սա բավական կարևոր հատված է ՝ քաղաքի 2 գլխավոր փողոցներն իրար կապող: Այս փողոցով բեռաթափեցինք նաև Մուսաելյան փողոցի երթևեկությունը: Գումարի առկայության դեպքում կհիմնանորգվի նաև շարունակությունը՝ Գորկու փողոցից մինչև Ռուսաթավելի ընկած հատվածը»,-փողոցի բացման ժամանակ լրագրողներին տեղեկացրեց Գյումրու քաղաքապետը:
Համայնքային բյուջեի գումարներով սա միակ փողոցն է Գյումրիում, որ հիմնանորոգվեց, մնացած փողոցները, գումարի սղության պատճառով, միայն փոսանորոգվում են:

«Մենք կարողացանք 76 փողոց ու հրապարակ փոսանորոգել, ինչը շատ կարևոր է: Մոտ 360 հազար քառակուսի մետր տարածք փոսանորոգվեց և սա շարունակական է: Կփորձենք մինչև աշուն իդեալական վիճակի մեջ պահել:

Աշխատանքերը կսկսենք հաջորդ տարվա գարնանը»,-նշեց Սամվել Բալասանյանը՝ հավելելով, որ Մադոյան փողոցի համար ևս կգործի երաշխիքային սպասարկման ժամկետ:
