Սիրելի ընթերցող, նոյեմբերից սկսած՝ Փաստի միջազգային էջը փորձել է ձեռքը պահել համաշխարհային անցուդարձի զարկերակի վրա և հնարավորինս բովանդակալից ու ամփոփ կերպով ներկայացնել ձեզ բոլոր այն կարևոր խնդիրները, որ օրակարգային են եղել համաշխարհային տեսանկյունից, երբեմն էլ՝ անմիջականորեն շոշափել մեր երկրի շահերը: Բայց ամառը նաև իր տրամաբանությունն ունի: Եվ դա, նախ և առաջ, հանգիստն է նաև մեդիա աշխարհի համար: Այնպես, որ՝ «Փաստը» նույնպես մեկնում է ամառային հանգստի, որպեսզի մեկ ամիս անց վերադառնա նոր ուժով և նոր թարմությամբ ձեզ համար աշխատելու պատրաստակամ վռճականությամբ:
 
Աշխատանքային վերջին օրը, չդավաճանելով սկզբունքին, որոշեցինք փոքր–ինչ թեթևացնել էջը: Եվ քանի որ հունիսի 27–ը համընկավ Բուրգերի համաշխարհային օրվան, կամ՝ 117–ամյակին, այն հարմար առիթ նկատեցինք մեր առջև դրված խնդիրն իրականացնելու համար:
 
Եվ այսպես՝ բուրգեր: Ի՞նչ գիտենք մենք ֆասթ–ֆուդի կամ արագ սննդի այս տեսակի մասին, որ իր ամերիկյան ծագմամբ հայտնի է դարձել ամբողջ աշխարհում: Պարզվում է՝ առաջին բուրգերը պատրաստվել է սրանից 117 տարի առաջ, 1900 թվականին, ամերիկյան Քոննեքթիքութ նահանգի Նյու Հեյվըն քաղաքի Louis' Lunch փոքրիկ հացատանը, խոհարար Լուի Լեսսենի կողմից: Այս մարդն առաջինն էր, որի մտքով անցավ ավանդական գերմանական բիֆշտեքսը, հազարի թերթիկի ու սոուսի հետ միասին, դնել կիսած հացի արանքում և մատուցել մարդկանց, որոնք շտապում էին և շատ ժամանակ չունեին հիմնավոր սննդի պատրաստմանն սպասելու համար: 1904–ին այն նաև լայն տարածում գտավ հանրության շրջանում այն բանից հետո, երբ նույն թվականին, Սենտ–Լուիսում կայացած համաշխարհային ցուցահանդեսի ժամանակ, Լեսսեն այն մատուցեց որպես սեփական բրենդ: Իսկ արդեն այսօր 117–ամյա բուրգերը, որ, անշուշտ, զանազան–զարմանազան, այդ թվում՝ էթնիկ փոփոխությունների է ենթարկվել, եթե կարելի է այդպես ասել, դարձել է բոլորի համար սիրված, հաճախ էլ՝ չարաշահվող ուտեստներից մեկը:
 
Բուրգերի ծննդյան տարեդարձն, ի դեպ, շատ վառ կերպով է նշվել Միացյալ Նահանգների տարբեր քաղաքներում՝ միջոցառումներ, երգ ու պար, մրցույթներ և այլն: Շատերն են նաև հիշատակել այն փաստը, որ ամենաթանկ բուրգերը պատրաստվում է Կալիֆորնիայի նահանգի Լաս–Վեգաս քաղաքի Fleur de Lys ռեստորանում, կոչվում է FleurBurger–5000 և արժե ոչ ավել, ոչ պակաս՝ 5000 դոլար (պատրաստվում է Կոբե կոչվող տավարի մսից, ֆուա–գրայից, տրյուֆելի սոուսից և սև տրյուֆելի փշրուկներից): Իսկ ահա ամենամեծ բուրգերը, որ կշռում է ուղիղ 7կգ. և արժե ընդամենը 30 դոլար, կարելի է համտեսել Փենսիլվանիայի փոքրիկ բիստրոներից մեկում:
 
Դժվարանում եմ ասել՝ երբևէ որևէ մեկը հաղթահարել է այն, թե ոչ, բայց որ բուրգերի երկարամյա պատմությունը նաև այսպիսի զավեշտալի դրվագներով է հարուստ, և մեր սիրելի քաղաքում էլ քիչ չեն վայրերը, որոնք իրենց սեփական բուրգերային պատմությունն են ստեղծում՝ փաստ է: Այնպես, որ՝ շնորհավորենք բուրգերի տարեդարձը: Ճիշտ է՝ Ֆեյսբուքյան Կույս կանանց միավորումն անպայման կհարձակվեր ինձ վրա՝ ապազգային բուրգերին անդրադառնալու համար և կառաջարկեր մեր սեփական Ղարսի խորովածի գովազդով զբաղվել, բայց հոգ չէ. արձակուրդից առաջ կարելի է նաև կույս կանանց հարձակումներին դիմակայել: Միևնույն է, այս դեպքում նույնպես կարևորը չափավորությունն է:
