Հարլեմ Դեզիրը վերստին հորդորել է Թուրքիային ազատ արձակել լրագրողներին

ԵԱՀԿ մամուլի ազատության հարցերով ներկայացուցիչ Հարլեմ Դեզիրը հերթական անգամ կոչ է արել Թուրքիայի իշխանություններին հանել լրագրողների դեմ ներկայացված մեղադրանքները և ազատ արձակել նրանց: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ԵԱՀԿ գրասենյակից, Դեզիրը կարևոր քայլ է համարել հուլիսի 28-ին դատարանի կողմից ընդունված վճիռը «Ջումհուրիեթ» պարբերականի կալանավորված 11 աշխատակիցներից յոթին ազատ արձակելու վերաբերյալ:
«Սակայն այն փաստը, որ լրագրողների զգալի մասը վերադարձել է բանտ և շարունակում է լուրջ քրեական հետապնդումների ենթարկվել, ապացույցն է նրա, որ Թուրքիայում մեդիայի ազատությունը կրիտիկական վիճակում է»,- ասել է Դեզիրը:
Նա ուշադրություն է հրավիրել նրա վրա, որ դատական առաջին լսումների ժամանակ չի ապացուցվել լրագրողների դեմ ներկայացված մեղքը: «Բոլոր լրագրողները պետք է ազատ արձակվեն՝ առանց կամայական բերման ենթարկման»,- հայտարարել է ԵԱՀԿ հանձնակատարը:
Թուրքիայի առաջատար լրատվամիջոցներից մեկի՝ «Ջումհուրիեթ»-ի աշխատակիցների դեմ դատական գործընթացը մեկնարկել է հուլիսի 24-ից: Որպես կասկածյալ են ներգրավված «Ջումհուրիեթ»-ի 17 աշխատակից, այդ թվում և գլխավոր խմբագիր Մուրադ Սաբունջուն, գործադիր տնօրեն Աքըն Աթալայը: Նրանցից 11-ը գտնվում էին կալանքի տակ, մյուս վեցը՝ երկրից դուրս չգալու պայմանով ազատության մեջ են: Բացի այդ, հետախուզման մեջ են հայտարարված պարբերականի երկու աշխատակից, այդ թվում և նախկին գլխավոր խմբագիր, թուրք առաջատար լրագրող Ջան Դյունդարը:
Հուլիսի 28-ին դատարանը որոշում է կայացրել կալանավորված յոթ կասկածյալներին ազատ արձակելու մասին: Չորսը, այդ թվում և ներկայիս գլխավոր խմբագիր Սաբունջուն, կշարունակեն կալանքի տակ մնալ:
«Ջումհուրիեթ»-ի աշխատակիցները մեղադրվում են «զինված ահաբեկչական խմբավորման անդամ չլինելով հանդերձ այդ խմբավորմանն աջակցելու», «հանցախմբի անդամ լինելու» մեջ: Նրանց համար պահանջվում է 7.5-ից մինչև 43 տարվա ազատազրկում:
