Ռուսաստանի և Նոր Նախիջևանի Հայ Առաքելական եկեղեցական համալիրի կոնֆերանս-դահլիճներում հոկտեմբերի 23-24-ին աշխարհի տարբեր անկյուններից ժամանած գիտնականները կներկայացնեն Ցեղասպանության թեմայով իրենց ուսումնասիրությունները: Այս մասին հայտնեցին Հայ Առաքելական եկեղեցու
Նախաձեռնության նպատակն է գիտականորեն սահմանել Ցեղասպանություն եզրույթը ոչ միայն որպես մարդկանց զանգվածային ոչնչացման փաստ, այլև որպես մարդկության դեմ բարոյահոգեբանական հանցագործություն:
Աննախադեպ է գիտաժողովի մասնակիցների ցանկը: Հայաստանցի և ռուսաստանցի հայտնի պատմաբանների հետ ցեղասպանության թեմայի շուրջ իրենց դիրքորոշումը ներկայացնելու նպատակով Մոսկվա կժամանեն անվանի գիտնականներ ԱՄՆ-ից, Եվրոպայից, Թուրքիայից, Իսրայելից, Ուկրաինայից, Մեծ Բրիտանիայից, Հունաստանից, Ավստրալիայից և Բրազիլիայից:
Բացառիկ է գիտաժողովին հայտնի պատմաբան Կաֆեր Սարիկայի մասնակցությունը, ով ներկայացնում է 20-րդ դարի սկզբին առաջին ցեղասպանությունն իրագործած Թուրքիան: Զեկույցով հանդես կգա համաշխարհային ճանաչում ունեցող իսրայելցի գիտնական, ցեղասպանության և ռասիզմի պատմության մասնագետ Յաիր Օրոնը: ԱՄՆ-ն կներկայացնի հայտնի գիտնական Հենրի Տերիոն: Ռուսաստանյան տեսակետը գիտաժողովին կներկայացնեն Ռուսաստանի գիտությունների ակադեմիայի Ընդհանուր պատմության ինստիտուտի տնօրեն Ալեքսանդր Չուբարյանն ու իրավաբանական գիտությունների դոկտոր, պրոֆեսոր Ռոբեր տ Ենգիբարյանը:
Գիտաժողովի թեմայի արդիականությունը հետաքրքրություն է առաջացրել ոչ միայն գիտական շրջանակներում` գիտաժողովին իրենց մասնակցությունն են հաստատել համաշխարհային կրոնական դավանանքների ռուսաստանյան ներկայացուցչությունների ղեկավարները, մշակույթի ու արվեստի ականավոր գործիչներ, դիվանագետներ ու քաղաքական գործիչներ շուրջ 30 երկրից: Հայ Առաքելական եկեղեցու Ռուսաստանի և Նոր Նախիջևանի թեմի կողմից կազմակերպվող գիտաժողովի նկատմամբ մեծ հետաքրքրություն են ցուցաբերել Ռուսաստանի պետական կառավարման մարմինների ղեկավարներն ու հասարակական-քաղաքÕ �կան կազմկերպությունները:
Օսմանյան կայսրությունում 1915թ.-ին իրագործված Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցին նվիրված գիտաժողովը կկայանա հոկտեմբերի 23-ին և 24-ին ՀԱԵ Ռուսաստանի և Նոր Նախիջևանի Հայոց թեմի եկեղեցական համալիրի տարածքում:
