В Турции задержали группу военных за жестокое обращение с беженцами

Турецкие власти задержали нескольких военнослужащих за жестокое обращение с беженцами из Сирии, которые нелегально пытались проникнуть в страну, после появления видео инцидента в социальных сетях, сообщает РИА Новости со ссылкой на газету Hürriyet.
«Военнослужащие, которые совершали неприемлемые действия, были задержаны, в отношении них предприняты необходимые юридические процедуры», — говорится в заявлении турецкой армии.
Вооруженные силы Турции начали расследование происшествия после появления в сети видеоролика, на котором несколько военнослужащих жестоко обращались с пойманными на границе беженцами. Инцидент, как отмечает издание, произошел 28 июля в одной из пограничных частей.
Двое военнослужащих заметили группу из четырех сирийских беженцев, которые пытались нелегально пересечь границу, доставили их на пост, где стали избивать их. Еще один военнослужащий снял инцидент на видео при помощи мобильного телефона. Как видео попало в интернет, не уточняется. Сколько человек задержано в связи с происшествием, также не уточняется.
