Հայաստանի ներկայացուցիչը վերընտրվել է «Եվրոպայի ժողովրդավար ուսանողների» Մարդու իրավունքների հանձնաժողովի նախագահ

Բուլղարիայի Վառնա քաղաքում հուլիսի 25-30-ը կայացել է «Եվրոպայի ժողովրդավար ուսանողների» (EDS) ամենամյա ամառային հավաքը, որն այս տարի կրել է «Եվրոպայի վաղվա առաջնորդները» խորագիրը: ՀՀԿ երիտասարդական կազմակերպությունը ներկայացնող Աննա Օհանյանը վերընտրվել է «Եվրոպայի ժողովրդավար ուսանողների» Մարդու իրավունքների մշտական հանձնաժողովի նախագահի պաշտոնում:
«Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում Աննա Օհանյանը նշեց, որ հանձնաժողովում մշակվում է կազմակերպության քաղաքականությունը մարդու իրավունքների ոլորտում: Եվրոպական ժողովրդական կուսակցության ուսանողական կազմակերպության բանաձեւերում եւ քաղաքականությունում լայն հնարավորություն կա արտացոլելու Հայաստանի տեսակետերն ու մոտեցումները: «Մեր կողմից անցյալ տարի բանաձեւ առաջարկվեց հակամարտող գոտիներում ուսանողների իրավունքների պաշտպանության մասին, որը հոկտեմբերին միաձայն ընդունվեց: Մեր կողմից ներկայացված մյուս բանաձեւը բլոգեր Լապշինի իրավունքների ոտնահարմանն էր վերաբերում»,-ասաց նա:
Աննա Օհանյանի խոսքով՝ «Եվրոպայի ժողովրդավար ուսանողների» Մարդու իրավունքների մշտական հանձնաժողովի կողմից առաջարկված լավագույն բանաձեւերը քննարկվում են ԵԺԿ-ում: «Այս տարի էլ կփորձենք ավելի շատ ուսանողների ներգրավել մարդու իրավունքների ոլորտում մեզ համար կարեւոր շեշտադրումներում»,-հավելեց նա:
Հավաքի ընթացքում կայացել է EDS ամենամյա ժողովը, որի ընթացքում կազմավորվել է EDS նոր Գործադիր Բյուրոն, ընտրվել են լիիրավ անդամները: EDS նոր նախագահ է ընտրվել Վիրջիլիո Ֆալկոն: Մարդու իրավունքների մշտական հանձնաժողովից բացի ծրագրի ընթացքում ձևավորվել են նաև մյուս մշտական աշխատանքային խմբերը՝ Եվրոպական քաղաքականությունների և Բարձրագույն կրթության ու հետազոտությունների: Հավաքի շրջանակներում քննարկումներ են եղել ներկայիս երիտասարդության դերի, Եվրոպայի ապագայի, 21-րդ դարի պահանջներին Եվրոպայի գործունեության համապատասխանեցման, գալիք աշխատանքային տարվա ծրագրերի ու աշխատանքների և մի շարք այլ թեմաների վերաբերյալ:
