«Հայաստանի Հանրապետության արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունն առաջարկում է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության արտաքին քաղաքականության տնտեսական բաղադրիչի զարգացման նպատակով կառավարության որոշմամբ հաստատել երկրների թիրախավորման տնտեսական չափանիշները, թիրախային երկրների ցանկը, օտարերկրյա պետություններում Հայաստանի Հանրապետության դիվանագիտական ներկայացուցչությունների տնտեսական գործունեության կատարողականի գնահատման չափանիշները: Հարցը ներառված է ՀՀ կառավարության օգոստոսի 3-ի հերթական նիստի օրակարգում:
Եվրասիական տնտեսական միությունը՝ ԵԱՏՄ-ն, գովերգող էդվարդ Նալբանդյանի ղեկավարած կառույցը տնտեսական չափանիշների հիման վրա ընտրված թիրախային երկրների մեկնարկային ցանկ է առաջարկում՝ Ռուսաստան, ԱՄՆ, Չինաստան, Իրան, Վրաստան, ԱՄԷ, Ֆրանսիա, Գերմանիա, Իտալիա, Կանադա, Լիբանան, Բենիլյուքսի երկրներ՝ Բելգիա, Նիդեռլանդներ, Լյուքսեմբուրգ: Ստացվեց 14 պետություն, որից միայն մեկն է ԵԱՏՄ-ից՝ Ռուսաստանը: Ամենաշատը՝ վեց երկիր, եվրոպական են: Արտգործնախարարությունը ցանկի հետ ներկայացրել է նաև երկրների թիրախավորման տնտեսական չափանիշները, երկկողմ առևտրատնտեսական հարաբերությունների մակարդակ, հայկական համայնքի առկայություն, աշխարհագրական և ենթակառուցվածքային հնարավորությունների առկայություն, Հայաստանի առաջարկած ապրանքների կամ ծառայությունների նկատմամբ պահանջարկի առկայություն և այլն:
ՀՀ ԱԳՆ-ում, փաստորեն, կարծում են, որ ԵԱՏՄ անդամ չորս երկրներից՝ Բելառուս, Ղազախստան, Ղրղըզստան, Ռուսաստան, միայն վերջինի հետ կարելի է տնտեսական ծրագրեր իրականացնել, գոնե տեսանելի ապագայում: Բայց այս որսի հետ մենք Եվրասիական տնտեսական միություն անունով կազմակերպության մեջ ենք: Կազմակերպությունը, որը ՀՀ պետական այրերը անվանում էին տնտեսական՝ ի հեճուկս այն վերլուծաբանների պնդումների, որ դա քաղաքական կառույց է»,-գրում է թերթը:
