Հայաստանում ամենօրյա ծխող են տղամարդկանց մոտավորապես կեսը

Թոքի քաղցկեղի վաղ հայտնաբերման և ժամանակակից բուժման մեթոդների ներդրման արդյունքում բարելավվել է հիվանդների ապրելիությունը: Հետևաբար, առավել մեծ է թոքի քաղցկեղ վերապրածների թիվը, և նրանք օգուտ են քաղում ծխելը դադարեցնելու առավելություններից: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ, այս մասին գալով «Թոքի քաղցկեղի վիրահատական բուժման ժամանակակից մոտեցումները» միջազգային գիտաժողովում`ասել է Հայաստանի ամերիկյան համալսարանի (ՀԱՀ) Ժիրայր և ՓաթրիշաԹրփանճեան
«Կարծում եմ ծխախոտային կախվածությունից ձերբազատումը քաղցկեղի բուժման պլանում ընդգրկելու խիստ անհրաժեշտություն կա»,- ասել է նա:
Անդրադառնալով թոքի քաղցկեղով հիվանդների շրջանում ծխելը դադարեցնելու առավելություններին` նա մասնավորապես նշել է. «Ապացուցված է, որ նույնիսկ հիվանդության ախտորոշումից հետո ծխելը դադարեցնելը հանգեցնում է բուժման արդյունավետության և ելքերի բարելավմանը»:
Բանախոսն ափսոսանքով ընդգծել է, որ բուժաշխատողները և թոքի քաղցկեղով հիվանդները հաճախ անտեղյակ են և թերահավատորեն են մոտենում այս առավելություններին:
Ողջ աշխարհում թոքի քաղցկեղը շարունակում է մնալ ամենատարածված չարորակ նորագոյացություններից մեկը: Բավական է ասել, որ այս տեղակայումով քաղցկեղի հետևանքով տարեկան ավելի շատ մարդ է մահանում, քան կրծքագեղձի, աղիների և շագանակագեղձի քաղցկեղներից միասին վերցված:
Արուսյակ Հարությունյանը նաև նշել է, որ, ըստ հաշվարկների, քաղցկեղի հետևանքով յուրաքանչյուր հինգերորդ մահվան պատճառը թոքի քաղցկեղն է:
«Ծխելը թոքի քաղցկեղի առաջացման ռիսկի ամենամեծ գործոնն է` հիվանդության առաջացման շուրջ 90%-ի պատճառը: Ծխողների շրջանում թոքի քաղցկեղի հիվանդացության և մահացության ցուցանիշները 15-30 անգամ գերազանցում են չծխողների ցուցանիշներին: Ցանկացած տարիքում ծխելը դադարեցնելը նվազեցնում է թոքի քաղցկեղի զարգացման ռիսկը: Նույնիսկ թոքի քաղցկեղի ախտորոշումից հետո ծխելը դադարեցնելը հանգեցնում է մի շարք առողջական օգուտների, ինչպիսիք են՝ հետվիրահատական բարդությունների նվազումը, քիմիաթերապիայի, ճառագայթային թերապիայի արդյունավետության և կյանքի որակի բարելավումը»,-ասել է գիտաշխատողը:
Վիճակագրական տվյալները փաստում են, որ 2012 թվականին տղամարդկանց շրջանում թոքի քաղցկեղի տարածվածության ամենաբարձր ցուցանիշը եղել է Հունգարիայում (51.6` 100,000 բնակչի հաշվով) (http://www.wcrf.org/int/
ԱՀԿ-ի կողմից իրականացված STEPS (2016-2017) հետազոտության համաձայն՝ Հայաստանում 18-ից 69 տարեկան մեծահասակների շրջանում ծխելու տարածվածությունը կազմում է 27.8%: Ընդ որում, ամենօրյա ծխող են տղամարդկանց մոտավորապես կեսը` 51.5%-ը, իսկ կանանց 1.8%-ը (World Health Organization. Ահազանգող այս ցուցանիշները պարտադրում են ծխախոտային կախվածության հիմնախնդրի լուծման կտրուկ քայլեր ձեռնարկել:
