Ջրային ռեսուրսների ոլորտում մեր կողմից դրված հիմնական խնդիրը ջրային ռեսուրսների կառավարման արդյունավետության խիստ բարձրացումն է, որի պարագայում կապահովվի պատշաճ արձագանք գյուղատնտեսական ոլորտի զարգացումներին, մասնավորապես՝ գյուղացիական ոռոգելի հողերի աստիճանական ավելացումներին, ինչպես նաև կլիմայի փոփոխությամբ պայմանավորված ջերմաստիճանի բարձրացման և տեղումների արձանագրված նվազումներին: Այդ մասին կառավարության նիստում նշեց ՀՀ վարչապետ Կարեն Կարապետյանը: «Ստեղծված իրավիճակում հանրապետությունում ջրային ռեսուրսների արդյունավետ կառավարման ռազմավարության շրջանակներում նոր լուծումների մշակումը և իրականացումը դառնում են խիստ անհրաժեշտ, մասնավորապես՝ առանցքային դերակատարություն է վերապահվում միջին և փոքր մակերևութային ջրահոսքերի ամբարումը։ Նշվածի իրագործումը կհանգեցնի ոռոգման ջրառաջարկի պահանջների առավել ամբողջական բավարարման, կառավարման արդյունավետության բարձրացման, ինչպես նաև հնարավորություն կստեղծի ձևավորել նոր լրացուցիչ գոտիներ ու դրանցով պայմանավորված նշված տարածքներում բիզնեսի խթանման միջավայր»,- ասաց վարչապետը:

Ելնելով վերոնշյալից՝ Կարեն Կարապետյանը Ջրային տնտեսության պետական կոմիտեի նախագահին հանձնարարեց 2-ամսյա ժամկետում կատարել համապատասխան ուսումնասիրություններ և, համատեղ քննարկելով Բնապահպանության, Գյուղատնտեսության, Տարածքային կառավարման և զարգացման և Արտակարգ իրավիճակների նախարարների հետ, կառավարության աշխատակազմ ներկայացնել հանրապետությունում միջին և փոքր ջրամբարաշինության ծրագրերի իրականացման վերաբերյալ առաջարկություն՝ ներառելով դրանց ֆինանսական գնահատականը:
