«Օր չկա, որ Հայաստանում մի հանցագործություն չլինի, և մասնագետներն ասում են՝ ամբողջ աշխարհում է այդպես: Իսկ վերջին շրջանում Հայաստանում հատկապես առանձնակի դաժան դեպքերն են հաճախակիացել՝ Շամիրամ գյուղում սգո սրահում հրազենից արձակված կրակոցներից մի քանի մարդ մահացավ, Արմավիրում կինը, ըստ իրավապահ մարմինների, կացնով սպանել է ամուսնուն, Սևանում նույն օրը 2 սպանություն է տեղի ունեցել, նախօրեին Երևանում 34-ամյա կնոջ դի է հայտնաբերվել, ըստ որոշ տեղեկությունների՝ այս կնոջ ամուսինը նրան պարբերաբար դաժան բռնության է ենթարկել:
Այս ընթացքում կարծիքներ հնչեցին, թե հանրության շրջանում վստահություն չկա իրավապահ մարմինների նկատմամբ, ուստի մարդիկ դիմում են ինքնադատաստանի:
Հայաստանում հանցագործությունների թիվն աճե՞լ է, թե՞ հակառակը՝ փորձեցինք պարզել Ազգային վիճակագրական ծառայության հրապարակումներով: ԱՎԾ-ն հրապարակել է ցուցանիշներ՝ ըստ ՀՀ կառավարությանն առընթեր ոստիկանության ամփոփ տեղեկատվության, հանրապետությունում ըստ առանձին հանցատեսակների խմբերի, գրանցված հանցագործությունների դեպքերի 2017 թվականի հունվար-հունիսի տվյալների: Ըստ այդմ, գրանցված հանցագործությունների թիվն այս տարվա հունվար-հունիսին աճել է նախորդ տարվա նույն ժամանակահատվածի համեմատ:
2017-ի առաջին կիսամյակում՝ գրանցվել է 9723 հանցագործություն, իսկ 2016-ի նույն ժամանակահատվածում՝ 9616 հանցագործություն: Գրանցված հանցագործություններում ոչ մեծ ծանրության, միջին ծանրության և ծանր հանցագործություններն այս տարվա առաջին կիսամյակում աճել են նախորդ տարվա առաջին կիսամյակի համեմատ: 2017-ի հունվար-հունիսին ոչ մեծ ծանրության 5219 հանցագործություն է գրանցվել, իսկ 2016-ի հունվար-հունիսին՝ 4691: Միջին ծանրության հանցագործությունների թիվն այս տարվա առաջին կիսամյակում եղել է 3203, իսկ նախորդ տարի նույն ժամանակահատվածում՝ 3196: Այս տարի նախորդի համեմատ ծանր հանցագործությունների թիվը նվազել է՝ 2017-ի հունվար-հունիսին՝ 1210, իսկ 2016-ի նույն ժամանակահատվածում՝ 1613: Առանձնապես ծանր հանցագործություններն էլ այս տարվա առաջին կիսամյակում նվազել են նախորդի համեմատ: Ըստ այդմ՝ 2017-ի հունվար-հունիսին գրանցվել է առանձնապես ծանր 91 հանցագործություն, իսկ 2016-ի առաջին կիսամյակում՝ 116»,-գրում է թերթը:
