Աշխարհի բազմաթիվ երկրներում հոկտեմբեր ամսվա երկրորդ ուրբաթ օրը, այս տարի՝ հոկտեմբերի 10-ին, Ձվի համաշխարհային օրնէ նշվում (World Egg Day):

Հավի ձուն իմունային համակարգն ամրապնդելու ներուժ եւս ունի եւ արդյունավետ պրոֆիլակտիկ միջոց է՝ աթերոսկլերոզի ու սրտանոթային հիվանդությունների դեմ պայքարի համար: Այն նաեւ դրական անդրադարձ է ապահովում ստամոքսաաղիքային համակարգի վրա եւ կարող է խոցային հիվանդության դեմ պայքարի միջոց ծառայել: Ձվի՝ տեսողության վրա անդրադարձը նույնպես չի կարելի թերագնահատել. սննդատեսակի մի շարք բաղադրիչներ աչքերը կատարախտից պաշտպանելու հատկություն ունեն: Բացի այդ էլ, ուղեղի աշխատանքը, հիշողությունը եւ մտավոր կարողությունները բարելավելու հնարավորություն են ընձեռում:

Երեխա լույս աշխարհ բերելու մտադրություն ունեցող զույգերին գիտնականները խորհուրդ են տալիս սննդակարգի մեջ անպայման ձու ներառել, քանի որ այն տղամարդու սերմնահեղուկի որակական հատկանիշները բարձր պահելու, իսկ կանանց էլ պտղի զարգացման համար անհրաժեշտ ֆոլաթթվով ապահովելու հատկություն է դրսեւորում: 

Հավին ձուն նաեւ ոսկրային հյուսվածքների ամրապնդմանը եւ ատամների, եղունգների ու մազերի որակի բարելավմանն է նպաստում:

Կալորիականություն

Հավի մեկ ձուն շուրջ 157 կալորիա է պարունակում: Դեղնուցը գլխավորապես սպիտակուցներից, ճարպերից եւ խոլեստերինից է բաղկացած, իսկ սպիտակուցը՝ ջրից ու սպիտակուցներից: Քանի որ ձվի բաղադրության մեջ առկա սպիտակուցները հեշտությամբ են մարսվում եւ կարող են մկանների զարգացման հանգեցնել, մարզիկներին խորհուրդ է տրվում անպայման սննդակարգի մեջ հավի ձու ներառել:
