Մալխաս Ամոյանը հաղթեց ադրբեջանցի ու թուրք ըմբիշներին եւ դուրս եկավ աշխարհի առաջնության եզրափակիչ

Հունահռոմեական ոճի ըմբշամարտի Հայաստանի երիտասարդական հավաքականի ներկայացուցիչ Մալխաս Ամոյանը դուրս եկավ Ֆինլանդիայի Տամպերե քաղաքում ավարտին մոտեցող ըմբշամարտի աշխարհի երիտասարդական առաջնության եզրափակիչ:
66 կգ քաշային կարգում Ամոյանը մեկնարկեց որակավորման փուլից եւ, հաղթելով մոլդովացի Վալենտին Պետիչին (9:0), ուկրաինացի Անդրի Պարցեին (8:0) եւ ադրբեջանցի Նամազ Ռուստամովին (5:1), դուրս եկավ կիսաեզրափակիչ, որտեղ ուժեղ գտնվեց թուրք Մուրատ Ֆիրատից՝ 3:3: Եզրափակիչում Մալխաս Ամոյանի մրցակիցը կլինի իրանցի Ամին Կավիյանինեջադը:
Աշխարհի երիտասարդական առաջնության վերջին օրը՝ օգոստոսի 6-ին պայքարի մեջ են մտել Հայաստանի եւս 2 ըմբիշներ՝ Տիգրան Մինասյանը (55 կգ) եւ Դավիթ Օվասապյանը (120 կգ): Տիգրան Մինասյանը 3 հաղթանակ տանելուց հետո պարտություն է կրել կիսաեզրափակիչում եւ կգոտեմարտի բրոնզե մեդալի համար: Դավիթ Օվասապյանը մեկնարկել է 2 հաղթանակով, բայց քառորդ եզրափակիչում պարտվել է ռուս ըմբիշին եւ լքել պայքարը:
Հունահռոմեական ոճի ըմբշամարտի Հայաստանի երիտասարդական հավաքականի կազմում նախօրեին հանդես էին եկել նաեւ Աշոտ Մխիթարյանը (50 կգ), Հրաչյա Պողոսյանը (60 կգ) եւ Արման Բաղդասարյանը (74 կգ), որոնք մեդալ չէին նվաճել:
