Եկեք խոսենք Հին Ռուսիայում սիրով զբաղվելու մասին: Ժամանակներում, երբ Ռուսաստանը դեռ հեթանոս էր, սեքսն անփոփոխ կերպով ուղեկցել է շատ տոների:

Օրինակ՝ ցանքսի հետ կապված ծեսերի ժամանակ սլավոնացիները սիրով են զբաղվել հենց դաշտերում, որպեսզի բերքը հաստատ առատ լինի:

Նաև աղջիկները մերկացել են պտղաբերության ուժը հողի հետ կիսելու համար, իսկ երիտասարդ տղաները հաճախ դաշտերը ցանել են՝ այդ ընթացքում մերկանալով:

«Պոռնիկ» հասկացությունը, որն առաջացել է VII դարում, սկզբում բացասական երանգ չի ունեցել:

Հին Ռուսաստանում պոռնիկ անվանել են աղջիկներին, որոնք ապագա ամուսին են փնտրել:

Իսկ քրիստոնեության գալով՝ պոռնիկ սկսել են անվանել աղջիկներին, որոնք կուսությունից զրկվել են ամուսնությունից առաջ, նաև այրիներին, որոնք սիրով են զբաղվել ուրիշ տղամարդկանց հետ:

Սլավոնացիների սեքսուալ ավանդույթներից մեկը եղել է ապագա կանանց հարսանիքից մեկ օր առաջ ինչ-որ մոգերի կողմից կուսությունից զրկելը:

Հիշատակություններ կան, որ նրանք դա արել են բաղնիքում:

Սակայն 967 թ. իշխան Սվյատոսլավը այդ պարտականությունը փոխանցել է օրինական ամուսիններին:

Իրավիճակը փոխվել է, երբ Հին Ռուսիայում ամրապնդվել է քրիստոնեությունը:

Սեքսով զբաղվել թույլատրվել է միայն ամուսիններին և բացառապես միսիոներական դիրքով:

Նաև եկեղեցին արգելել է սիրով զբաղվել կանգնած, քանի որ այդ դիրքն օպտիմալ է համարվել ոչ թե բեղմնավորման, այլ հաճույքի համար:
