Netflix ծառայությունը հրապարակել Է առաջին սերիալի թողարկման ամսաթիվը, որի ռեժիսորներն են դարձել ամերիկացի կինեմատոգրաֆիստներ Իթան եւ Ջոել Քոենները: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնել Է Reuters-ը:
Նախագիծը, որն ստացել Է «Բասթեր Սքրագսի բալլադը» անվանումը, թողարկվելու Է 2018 թվականին:
Ռեժիսորները հանդես են եկել նաեւ որպես սցենարի հեղինակներ, որը հիմնված Է օրիգինալ գաղափակի վրա, եւ սերիալի պրոդյուսերներ: «Բասթեր Սքրագսի բալլադն» իրենից ներկայացնելու Է անթոլոգիա Վայրի Արեւմուտքի մասին, որը բաղկացած կլինի վեց մասից: Գլխավոր դերը կատարելու Է Թիմ Բլեյք Նելսոնը:
Սկզբնապես պլանավորվում Էր սերիալը թողարկել Annapurna Television հեռուստաալիքով: Թե ինչու արդյունքում նախագծով զբաղվեց Netflix-ը, չի հաղորդվում: Քոենները հեռուստատեսությունում արդեն աշխատել են որպես «Ֆարգո» սերիալի գործադիր պրոդյուսերներ, որը հիմնված Է ռեժիսորների համանուն ժապավենի վրա: Եղբայրներն ավելի հայտնի են այնպիսի կինոնկարներով, ինչպիսիք են՝ «Մեծ Լեբովսկին», «Այստեղ ծերունիների տեղը չԷ» եւ «Կարդալուց հետո այրել» ֆիլմերը: Նրանք «Օսկար» մրցանակի քառակի դափնեկիրներ են:
