Շատ հայեր սկսել են վերադառնալ Բաթում, որտեղ ավելի հեշտ են աշխատանք գտնում

Բաթումում գործող միակ հայկական դպրոցը տարիներ առաջ փակվել է աշակերտների սակավության պատճառով: Վիրահայոց թեմի առաջնորդ Վազգեն եպիսկոպոս Միրզախանյանը NEWS.am-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց, որ Վիրահայոց թեմն այժմ Վրաստանի ԿԳՆ-ի հետ աշխատանքներ է տանում, որպեսզի Աջարիայում վերաբացվի հայկական դպրոցը:
«Ծնողներից շատերը հայերենին չեն տիրապետում, եւ նրանց համար դժվար էր իրենց երեխաներին հայկական դպրոց բերել, այդ պատճառով էլ հիմնականում ռուսական կամ վրացական դպրոցներ էին տանում»,-ասաց սրբազանը:
Ըստ 2014թ. նոյեմբերին Վրաստանում անցկացված մարդահամարի տվյալների՝ Բաթումում՝ մինչեւ 8000, Քոբուլեթում՝ 1000-1500 եւ Չակվիում 1500 հայ է ապրում: Վազգեն եպիսկոպոս Միրզախանյանի խոսքով, վերջին տարիներին Մոսկվայից եւ այլ երկրներից շատ հայեր վերադառնում են Աջարիա՝ աշխատելու համար:
«Աջարիայում հայության թիվը պակասել է 90-ական թվականներին, ներկայում Աջարիայի հայության թվի կտրուկ նվազում չի նկատվում, հակառակը, Մոսկվա, կամ այլ վայրեր տեղափոխված հայերը վերադառնում են Բաթում եւ աշխատում են այնտեղ: Հիմնականում գործարարությամբ են զբաղվում՝ փոքր եւ միջին բիզնեսով, երիտասարդները նավերի վրա տարբեր ծառայություններ են մատուցում, սպասարկման ոլորտում աշխատում»:
Նրա խոսքով, Աջարիայի հայերը հիմնականում աշխատանքի խնդիր չեն ունենում, քանի որ ծովափնյա շրջանում են ապրում, տիրապետում են լեզվին, որն էլ օգնում է նրանց ինտեգրվել վրաց հասարակությանը. «Նրանց համար աշխատանք գտնելն ավելի հեշտ է: Ոմանք իրենց տները հյուրանոցներ են դարձրել եւ կարողանում են օրվա հացի փող վաստակել: Այստեղի հայերը, ի տարբերություն այլ բնակավայրերում ապրողների, ինտեգրված են հասարակությանը, ազգային խտրականություն չկա: Այստեղի հայությունը հիմնականում ռուսախոս է, տիրապետում են նաեւ վրացերենին եւ լեզվի խնդիր չունեն»:
Աջարիայում ապրում են մեծ թվով թուրքեր եւ ադրբեջանցիներ, սակայն, ըստ սրբազանի, այս հանգամանքը տեղի հայերի համար խոչընդոտներ չի առաջացնում, հակահայկական տրամադրություններ չկան, ավելին՝ շատ հայեր աշխատանք են գտնում հենց թուրք գործատուների մոտ. «Շատ թուրքական ընկերություններում աշխատում են նաեւ հայեր, որոնք թուրքերենին են տիրապետում: Բաթումում գործում է Սուրբ Փրկիչ եկեղեցին, տարօրինակ է, բայց շատ թուրք զբոսաշրջիկներ են գալիս այդ եկեղեցի: Ընդգծված հակահայկական տրամադրություններ չկան եւ չեն էլ եղել: Եկեղեցու հոգեւոր հովիվն է Տեր Արարատ քահանա Կումբարյանը, 2014թ.-ից գործում է Ալեքսանդր Մանթաշյան կրթամշակութային երիտասարդական կենտրոնը, որտեղ կա մանկապարտեզ, կիրակնօրյա դպրոց, գործում են խմբակներ: Բավականին ակտիվ մշակութային կյանքով է ապրում Աջարիայի հայությունը»:
