Կենդանի զարթուցիչներ


18-րդ դարից մինչև 1920-ական թվականները մասնագիտությունների շարքում եղել է նաև կենդանի զարթուցիչը։ Այդ մարդկանց գործը եղել է արթնացնելը նրանց, ովքեր պետք է վաղ առավոտյան աշխատանքի գնային։ «Զարթուցիչները» փայտերով ծեծում էին իրենց գործատուների պատուհանները կամ էլ փողային գործիքով փչում նրանց տան ուղղությամբ։

Զգեստներ տղաների համար


16-րդ դարից մինչ 1900-ական թվականները 4-8 տարեկան տղա երեխաներին զգեստներ են հագցրել, և դա բոլորի համար ընդունելի է եղել։ Դրա հիմնական պատճառը, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, եղել է հագուստի թանկ լինելը, իսկ զգեստներ կարելը ամենամատչելի տարբերակն է եղել։

Չոպիններ

Մինչև զուգարանի թղթի ստեղծումը մարդիկ բազմաթիվ բաներ են օգտագործել դրա ֆունկցիան կատարելու համար։ Կիրառվել են տարբեր տեսակի թփեր, կոկոսի կեղև, գառան մորթի և կտոր (հարուստ ընտանիքներում), սպունգով փաթաթված փայտ և նույնիսկ ջուր։ Սակայն ավելի շատ զարմացնում է Հին Հունաստանում կիրառված լուծումը. այնտեղ մարդիկ օգտագործել են ձեռքի տակ ընկած քարերը և կոտրված սպասքի կտորները։
