Կենդանի զարթուցիչներ
18-րդ դարից մինչև 1920-ական թվականները մասնագիտությունների շարքում եղել է նաև կենդանի զարթուցիչը։ Այդ մարդկանց գործը եղել է արթնացնելը նրանց, ովքեր պետք է վաղ առավոտյան աշխատանքի գնային։ «Զարթուցիչները» փայտերով ծեծում էին իրենց գործատուների պատուհանները կամ էլ փողային գործիքով փչում նրանց տան ուղղությամբ։
Զգեստներ տղաների համար
16-րդ դարից մինչ 1900-ական թվականները 4-8 տարեկան տղա երեխաներին զգեստներ են հագցրել, և դա բոլորի համար ընդունելի է եղել։ Դրա հիմնական պատճառը, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, եղել է հագուստի թանկ լինելը, իսկ զգեստներ կարելը ամենամատչելի տարբերակն է եղել։
Չոպիններ
Չոպինները, որոնք հայտնի են նաև ցոկոլներ և պյանելներ անվանումներով, պլատֆորմով կոշիկների տեսակ են, որոնց բարձրությունը հասնում էր մինչև 50 սմ-ի։ Պատահական չէ, որ դրանք կրող կանանց տեղաշարժվելու համար հարկավոր է եղել մի քանի ծառայի օգնություն։ Սակայն այս կոշիկները կրել են ոչ միայն նորաձևությանը հետևելու ձգտումից, այլև հագուստը փողոցում չկեղտոտելու համար։

Եղել է մի ավանդույթ, որը մեր օրերում չափազանց սարսափելի կթվա ցանկացած մարդու։ 19-րդ դրաում մահացած հարազատների հիշողությունը պահպանելու համար մարդիկ լուսանկարվել են դիակի հետ։ Որպես կանոն, դիակին հնարավորինս «կենդանի» տեսք են տվել տարբեր տեսակի շպարի օգնությամբ, նստեցրել են աթոռին և նույնիսկ բիբեր են նկարել փակ կոպերի վրա։

Մինչև զուգարանի թղթի ստեղծումը մարդիկ բազմաթիվ բաներ են օգտագործել դրա ֆունկցիան կատարելու համար։ Կիրառվել են տարբեր տեսակի թփեր, կոկոսի կեղև, գառան մորթի և կտոր (հարուստ ընտանիքներում), սպունգով փաթաթված փայտ և նույնիսկ ջուր։ Սակայն ավելի շատ զարմացնում է Հին Հունաստանում կիրառված լուծումը. այնտեղ մարդիկ օգտագործել են ձեռքի տակ ընկած քարերը և կոտրված սպասքի կտորները։
