Երևի թե չկա այնպիսի մեկը, ով գոնե մեկ անգամ լսած չլինի իսպանացի հայտնի նկարիչ Պաբլո Պիկասոյի մասին: Սակայն քչերն են տեղյակ նրա կյանքին առնչվող մի շարք փաստերից: Ձեզ ենք ներկայացնում դրանցից ամենահետաքրքիրները: 

 

 

1. Պիկասոն ծնվել է շատ դժվարությամբ և այնքան թույլ է եղել, որ ծնունդն ընդունող բուժքույրը կարծել է, թե նա մահացած է, թողել է փոքրիկին մոր մոտ՝ սեղանին, և հեռացել: Նորածին Պիկասոյին փրկել է բժիշկ հորեղբայրը՝ Դոն Սալվադորը։

 

2. Պիկասոյի առաջին բառը եղել է մատիտը: Նա ասել է «piz», որն իսպաներեն «lapiz» (մատիտ) բառի կրճատ տարբերակն է: Հոր անունը Ռուիս էր: Վերջինս արվեստի պրոֆեսոր էր, նկարիչ, ով իր որդուն մինչև 13 տարեկան արվեստի ֆորմալ կրթություն տվեց: 13 տարեկանից հետո Ռուիսը որոշեց հրաժարվել իր սիրելի արվեստով զբաղվելուց, քանի որ տեսնում էր, որ Պաբլոն մի քանի անգամ գերազանցում է իրեն:

 

3. Պիկասոյին անվանել են սրբերի ու հարազատների անուններով: Արդյունքում նրա ամբողջական անունը բաղկացած է եղել 23 բառից՝ Պաբլո Դիեգո Խոսե Ֆրանսիսկո դե Պաուլա Խուան Նեպոսումենո Մարիա դե Լոս Ռեմեդիոս Կիպրիանո լա Սանտիսիմա Տրինիդադ Մարտիրոս Պատրիսիո Կլիտո Ռուիս Պիկասո: Հենց Պիկասո անվանումը ստացել է մոր կողմից՝ Մարիա Պիկասո Լոպես: Հոր ամբողջական անունը Խոսե Ռուիս Բլասկո էր:

4. Պիկասոյի դասընկերները մի քանի տարով մեծ էին նրանից, սակայն իր ստեղծագործական ունակություններով նա շատ առաջ էր բոլորից: Սակայն նա սարսափելի ուսանող էր, քանի որ ամեն անգամ զայրանում և կատաղում էր, երբ ինչ-որ մեկն իրեն ասում էր, թե ինչ պետք է անի: Այդ պատճառով էլ հաճախ կալանքի տակ էր հայտնվում, սակայն չէր վհատվում դրանից, քանի որ իր հետ գաղտնի պարագաներ էր վերցնում և ողջ ընթացքում նկարում:

 

5. Իր առաջին պայմանագիրը Պիկասոն ստորագրել է Փարիզում: Մյուս կողմը արվեստային առևտրական Պերե Մենաչին էր, ով պայմանագրով համաձայնում էր նկարչին ամսական 150 ֆրանկ վճարել (այսօրվա դրությամբ մոտ $750):

 

6. 1911 թ. Լուվրից գողացան Լեոնարդո դա Վինչիի հանրահայտ «Մոնա Լիզա» կտավը: Ոստիկանները բերման ենթարկեցին Պիկասոյի բանաստեղծ ընկերոջը, որն իր հերթին որպես կասկածյալ մատնանշեց հենց Պիկասոյին: Ուստի ոստիկանները Պիկասոյին ևս հարցաքննության կանչեցին: Ավելի ուշ երկուսն էլ ազատ արձակվեցին, քանի որ անմեղ էին:

 

7. Պիկասոն միայն մեկ հոգու է վարպետ և իր ուսուցիչ համարել, և դա եղել է նկարիչ Պոլ Սեզանը:

 

8. Նկարիչը թաղված է Հարավային Ֆրանսիայի Վուվոնարգես գյուղում: Այժմ այցելուների փոքր խմբերին թույլատրվում է տեսնել վայրը, որտեղ Պիկասոն մինչև 91 տարեկանը սիրում էր հանգստանալ:
