Նա ամեն օր տարօրինակ ձայներ էր լսում ավտոտնակից. ամուսնուն այցելելով՝ կինը կորցրեց խոսելու ունակությունը

Ակտիվ զբոսաշրջիկներ Բրեդ և Լիզ Սոդենները հաճախ էին արշավների գնում՝ իրենց հետ տանելով երեխաներին. տղամարդը 3 որդի ուներ, կինը՝ 2 դուստր: Ամեն ինչ լավ էր, զույգը մտածում էր ամուսնանալու մասին:
Բայց մի չարագուշակ օր Լիզն իր փիքափով տեղափոխում էր Բրեդին և նրա 3 որդիներին: Անիվի պայթելու հետևանքով կինը կորցրեց մեքենայի կառավարումը: Վթար տեղի ունեցավ:
Տղաները նստած էին հետևի նստատեղին և միայն քերծվածքներ ստացան: Տղամարդը կոտրեց ձեռքը: Լիզի վիճակն ամենավատն էր:
Ողնաշարի կոտրվածքի պատճառով կինն ընդմիշտ գամվեց հաշմանդամի սայլակին: Մտածելով, որ հաշմանադամի սայլակին իր և Բրեդի կյանքը չի ստացվի, Լիզը փորձեց նրան հետ կանգնեցնել ամուսնանալու մտքից: Բայց տղամարդը պնդեց ամուսնանալու հարցում: Սարսափելի վթարից մեկ տարի անց Բրեդը և Լիզն ամուսնացան:
Ամուսիններն իրենց տունը հարմարեցրին Լիզի կարիքներին: Շուտով պարզվեց՝ Լիզին ամենաշատը սպանում էր սիրելի գործով զբաղվել չկարողանալը:
Շուտով Բրեդը սկսեց օրեր շարունակ կորչել ավտոտնակում: Տեխնիկական կրթություն չունեցող զինվորականը որոշել էր հաղթահարել կնոջ խնդիրները: Որոշ ժամանակ անց ստեղծվեց գյուտարարի ջանքերի արդյունքը: Բրեդն այն անվանում է «տանկ-սայլակ»:
Հաշմանդամի սայլակը վերափոխելով՝ տղամարդն իր նախագծից հանեց անիվները՝ դրանք փոխարինելով թրթուրավոր շղթաներով: Ստացվեց իսկական ամենագնաց: Սոդենի «տանկ-սայլակը» հաղթահարեց անանցանելի ցեխը, ձյան հաստ շերտը, ծովափը: Լիզը հիացած էր ամուսնու նվերով:
Որոշ ժամանակ անց Բրեդի գյուտի մասին լսելով՝ նրան սկսեցին դիմել նախկին զինվորներ, ովքեր տուժել էին մարտական գործողությունների ընթացքում: Ավելի ուշ տղամարդը սկսեց պատվերներ ընդունել: Հիմա Սոդենների ընտանիքը «տանկ-սայլակ» արտադրող իր ընկերությունն ունի:
Յուրաքանչյուր այդպիսի սայլակը պատրաստվում է յուրահատուկ կերպով պատվիրատուի պահանջներին համապատասխան և բավական թանկ արժե: Սակայն չնայած 15 000 դոլար գնին՝ «տանկ-սայլակները» շատ լավ վաճառվում են:
