Իրանագետ Արմեն Վարդանյանի խոսքով՝ Իրանից  Հայաստանը գազի մատակարարման ծավալների մեծացման պայմանավորվածություն ձեռք  բերել է դեռ նախորդ տարվա վերջից, երբ իրանական գազ է մատակարարել  Ագարակ և Մեղրի:

Նա Tert.am-ի հետ զրույցում Իրանի Ազգային գազային ընկերության միջազգային հարցերով բաժնի տնօրեն Բեհզադ Բաբազադեի հայտարարությունները, թե դիտարկում են Հայաստանին գազի մատակարարումն ավելացնելու հարցը, կապեց հենց վերոնշյալ տարածքներում գազի մատակարարման հետ:

«Կարծում եմ՝ որոշակի, ոչ մեծ ծավալներով է գազը մատակարարվելու: Հայաստանին էլ է ձեռնտու մոտ սահմանից գնել: Ռուսաստանյան «Գազպրոմի» համար էլ դա մեծ սպառնալիք չէ»,- ասաց նա:

Նշենք, որ Բեհզադ Բաբազադեն հայտարարել է, որ իրանական գազն էլեկտրաէներգիայի դիմաց Հայաստան արտահանելու առավելագույն քանակն այժմ օրական ﬔկ մլն խորանարդ ﬔտրից պակաս է:

«Հայկական կողմը պահանջել է ավելացնել Իրանից արտահանուﬓ օրական 2 կամ 2,5 մլն խմ-ի: Մենք դիտարկում ենք այդ հարցը: Մենք նախընտրում ենք Հայաստանի հետ ստորագրել գազի արտահանման ծավալների ավելացման ուղիղ համաձայնագիր, որպեսզի վճարը ստանանք ուղիղ, առանց էլեկտրաէներգիայի: Եթե կողﬔրի ﬕջև ձեռք բերվի համաձայնություն, գազն էլեկտրաէներգիայով փոխանակելու մասին պայմանագիրը չի չեղարկվի, այն ստորագրվել է երկու երկրների կառավարությունների ﬕջև ու կպահպանվի։ Սակայն ընկերությունը ցանկանում է Հայաստանի հետ առանձին համաձայնագիր կնքել ու գազի մատակարարուﬓերի դիմաց գումար ստանալ»,- ասել է Բաբազադեն՝ հավելելով, որ Հայաստանի հետ բանակցվում է առանձին համաձայնագիր ստորագրելու հարցը:

Արմեն Վարդանյանի խոսքով՝ այնուամենայնիվ հայկական կողմը ռուսական կողմի հետ է պայմանավորվածություններ ձեռք բերել, որ բանակցի Իրանի հետ այստեղից գազի մատակարարումն ավելացնելու շուրջ: «Վերջին շրջանում Իրանի և Ռուսաստանի միջև հարաբերությունները լավացել են, հատկապես միջուկային համաձայնագրից հետո: Եվ փոքր ծավալի մատակարարումն էլ Ռուսաստանը խնդիր չի դիտարկի»,- ասաց նա:

Իրանագետը նաև նկատեց, որ իրանական գազի մատակարարման ավելացումը քաղաքական երանգներ ունի: Նշեց, որ ռուսական գազը համեմատած իրանական գազի հետ ավելի որակյալ է, և, հետևաբար քաղաքական ենթատեքստ կա իրանական գազի մատակարարման ծավալները մեծացնելու մեջ: «Ռուբիկոնը հատում ենք: Մինչև հիմա վախենում էինք, չէինք խոսում, բայց հիմա առաջին քայլն արել ենք: Վստահ եմ՝ դրան կհետևի այլ քայլեր, ավելի մեծ ծավալներով գազ Իրանից կներկրվի: Այստեղ քաղաքական, գուցե նաև հոգեբանական պահ կա»,- նշեց նա:

Գազի սակագինը, Արմեն Վարդանյանի նկատառմամբ, դեռ որոշված չէ, սակայն ամենայն հավանականությամբ Հայաստանին շահավետ տարբերակներ են առաջարկել՝ հաշվի առնելով, որ Իրանի իշխանություններն էլ նշել են, որ Հայաստանի հետ գազի գինը կարող են սակարկել:

Իրանագետը նշեց, որ եթե Իրանի ցանկությամբ լիներ, ավելի մեծ ծավալներով գազ կմատակարարվեր Հայաստան․ առավել որոշիչ դեր է քաղաքացել հայկական դիվանագիտական կորպուսի աշխատանքը՝ Ռուսաստանի հետ համաձայնության գալը: «Իհարկե հայկական կողմը բանակցություններ է  տարել ռուսական կողմի հետ և համաձայնության հասել, չգիտեմ՝ ինչի դիմաց և ինչ պայմաններում»,- ասաց նա:
