Գյումրիում շարունակվում են Ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցին նվիրված միջոցառումները: Գյումրու պետական սիմֆոնիկ նվագախումբը հոկտեմբերի 21-ին Վարդան Աճեմյանի անվան պետական դրամատիկական թատրոնում համերգային ծրագրով ոչ միայն ոգեկոչեց, այլ նաև ի լուր բոլորի փաստեց՝ կոտրել մշակութային ժառանգություն ու հարուստ անցյալ ունեցող ազգին` անկարելի է: Համերգային ծրագրում ընդգրկված էին արևմտաեվրոպական ու հայ դասակ անների ստեղծագործություններ: Եթե համերգի առաջին մասում միայն սիմֆոնիկ նվագախումբն էր, որը կատարեց չեխ նշանավոր կոմպոզիտոր Ա. Դվորժակի «Նոր աշխարհից» ստեղծագործությունը, ապա երկրորդ մասում նվագախմբին միացան մենակատարներ` Գյումրու Կարա-Մուրզայի անվան պետական երաժշտական քոլեջի ուսանողուհիներ Արուսյակ Ղևոնդյանն ու Դիանա Սարգսյանը: Տարին խորհրդանշական էր նաև Գյումրու Կարա-Մուրզայի անվան պետական երաժշտական քոլեջի համար՝ նշվեց ուսումնական հաստատության գործունեության 80-ամյակը: Սա էլ միտք տվեց սիմֆոնիկ նվագախմբի գեղարվեստակաÕ ¶ ղեկավարին, համերգային ծրագրում ընդգրկել նաև քոլեջի լավագույն ուսանողներին: Այս քայլը նաև մեկ այլ կարևոր խորհուրդ ուներ՝ անկարելի է ոչնչացնել բազմադարյան մշակույթը, ինչը հայի արյան մեջ է, իսկ երիտասարդները այդ ժառանգության կրողներն են:
Ինչպես տեղեկացրեց նվագախմբի գեղարվեստական ղեկավար և դիրիժոր Երվանդ Վարոսյանը, թեև նվագախումն արդեն ունեցել է Ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցին նվիրված համերգ Դիլիջանում, սակայն Գյումրիում մի փոքր ուշ ստացվեց այդ համերգը, որը նաև տարվա կատարված աշխատանքի հաշվետվությունը կարելի է համարել: «Անչափ խորհրդանշական մի նոր ստեղծագորոծություն է ավելացել մեր ծրագրում, որի համար շնորհակալ ենք ստեղծագործության հեղինակից՝ Ա. Վերնոյի «Մայրիկ» ֆիլմի սաունդ-թրեքի հեղինակ Ժան Կլոդ Պետիին՝ «Հայաստանի լեռներում» ստեղծագորոծության նոտաների տրամադրման համար: Մեծ ցանկություն կար հենց Ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցին նվիրված համերգի ժամանակ նվագել այդ ստեղծագործությունը, և այդ նոտաները Փարիզից հասան մեզ, մենք էլ շատ սիրով ընդգրկեցինք մեր նվագացանկի մեջ: Նվագախմբի յուրաքանչյուր անդամ առանձնակի հուզմունքով է մոտեցել այս ստեղծագորոծությանը»,-նշեց Երվանդ Վարոսյանը՝ հավելելով, որ ստեղծագործության մենակատարն է դուդուկահար Կարապետ Շաբոյանը: Բոլոր ստեղծագորոծությունները չնայած ջերմ Õ �նդունելության արժանացան, բայց ամենահուզիչը հենց Պետիի՝ «Հայաստանի լեռներում»-ն էր: Համերգի ավարտին հնչեցին հատվածներ Ա. Խաչատրյանի «Գայանե» բալետից, իսկ որպես վերջին ակորդ՝ «Լեռնցիների պար»-ն էր՝ «փաստելու, որ արդեն լաց չկա, այլ ապացույցելու՝ կանք ու դեռ կլինենք»,-ավելացրեց երվանդ Վարոսյանը:
