 ՀՀ արտակարգ իրավիճակների նախարարությունն ունի հրդեհաշիջման տեխնիկա, բայց այն բավարար չէ, տեխնիկան ձեռք է բերվել նախարարության ունեցած հնարավորությունների սահմաններում: Այդ մասին կառավարության նիստից հետո  լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց ՀՀ ԱԻՆ նախարարի տեղակալ Դավիթ Կարապետյանը՝ պատասխանելով հարցին, թե ՀՀ ԱԻՆ-ն արդյոք պատրաստ չէր Արտավանի և Խոսրովի արգելոցի հրդեհների դեմ պայքարին:

«Մենք ունենք տեխնիկա, բայց այն բավարար չէ: Տեխնիկան ձեռք է բերվել նախարարության ունեցած հնարավորությունների սահմաններում: Թե ինչո՞ւ չունենք հրդեհաշիջող ինքնաթիռ, դրանք հարցեր են, որոնք պայմանավորված են ֆինանսների հետ, սակայն ժխտել, որ ԱԻՆ-ը վերջին տարիներին իր աշխատանքում մեծ արդյունավետություն և առաջընթաց է ունեցել, դա արդեն սուբյեկտիվ է: Խոշոր աղետներին պետք  է պատրաստվենք և պատրաստվում ենք»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ ասաց Կարապետյանը:

Հարցին՝ ընդունո՞ւմ է, որ այսպիսի մասշտաբի հրդեհի ԱԻՆ-ը պատրաստ չէր, փոխնախարարն ասաց, որ կային տեխնիկական խնդիրներ, բայց դրանք փորձ է արվել լրացնել: Կարապետյանը նկատեց, որ այս կարգի հրդեհների դեմ անգամ ամենամեծ ու զարգացած երկրները դժվարություններ ունենում են, ԱԻՆ-ն իր ռեսուրսներով առավելագույնն արել և անում է:

Դիտարկմանը, որ հրդեհը բռնկվել էր օգոստոսի ամսի 12-ին, ինչո՞ւ ռուսական կողմի օգնությանը դիմեցին օգոստոսի 14-ին՝ փոխնախարարն ասաց, որ հրդեհի ծավալներն այդքան մեծ չէին և հույս է եղել չեզոքացնել սեփական ուժերով, սակայն քամին նպաստել է հրդեհի տարածմանը: «Օգոստոսի 14-ի առավոտյան դիմեցինք ՌԴ մեր գործընկերներին, և նույն օրը ինքնաթիռը Հայաստանում էր: Ռուսական ինքնաթիռը բավական արդյունավետ գործունեություն կատարեց ու կատարում է, բայց ասել, որ հրդեհը մարեց միայն «ԻԼ 76»-ի շնորհիվ՝ չափազանցություն է»,- ընդգծեց Կարապետյանը՝ ավելացնելով, որ հրդեհը հանգցնելու գործում դերակատարում են ունեցել թե՛ ինքնաթիռը, թե՛ ցամաքային ճանապարհով՝ 100-ավոր փրկարարները, քաղաքացիները, զինվորականները և ոստիկանները: «Այսինքն՝ եթե մենք ասենք, որ ձեռք կբերենք մի ինքնաթիռ, և բոլոր ռիսկերը կնվազեցվեն՝ դա ևս ոչ պրոֆեսիոնալ կլինի»,- ասաց փոխնախարարը:

Ըստ նրա, Հայաստանի ԱԻՆ-ին անհրաժեշտ են և՛ հրդեհաշիջող ավիացիա, և՛ դժվարամատչելի ռելիեֆի պայմաններում աշխատող ամենագնացներ, որոնց ուղղությամբ աշխատանքներ տարվում են:
