Իրան-Հայաստան, կամ Հայաստանի տարածքով տրանզիտային գազամուղը չի կարող ձեռնտու չլինել Հայաստանին, նախեւառաջ քաղաքանապես: Այս մասին NEWS.am-ի հետ զրույցում նշել է քաղաքագետ Հայկ Ա. Մարտիրոսյանը՝ անդրադառնալով իրանական գազը Հայաստանի տարածքով տարանցելու հեռանկարին, որի մասին վերջերս խոսեր էր նաեւ ՀՀ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը:
Մասնավորապես, Սերժ Սարգսյանն իրանական «Շարղ» օրաթերթին տված հարցազրույցում նշել էր. «Նման մեծածավալ նախագիծը պետք է բազմակողմանիորեն ուսումնասիրվի, հաշվարկվի, եւ եթե տնտեսապես շահավետ լինի բոլոր կողմերի համար, ապա՝ ինչո՞ւ ոչ: Հայաստանը շահագրգռված է մասնակցելու տարածաշրջանային տնտեսական խոշոր նախագծերին»:
Հարցին, թե որքանո՞վ է հավանական նման նախագծի իրականացումը ե՞րբ կարող է այն տեղի ունենալ եւ ինչպես դրան կարձագանքի Ռուսաստանը, քաղաքագետը պատասխանեց. «Սերժ Սարգսյանի խոսքերը բավական զգուշավոր են եւ դրանցում թերեւս կարելի է հենց այդ նախագիծը մերժելու հեռավոր ենթատոն որսալ: Հնարավոր է՝ դա այդպես չէ, բայց նկատի ունենալով արդեն այս գազամուղի լայնամասշտաբ կարեւորությունը, կարելի է ենթադրել, որ դրան խոչընդոտել ցանկացող այլ խոշոր ուժեր տարածաշրջանում վստահորեն կան: Դա ոչ թե կամ ոչ միայն տնտեսական բաղադրիչ ունի, այլ նախեւառաջ՝ քաղաքական-ռազմավարական: Եվ երբ շեշտը դրվում է տնտեսական բաղադրիչի ու հնարավոր կամ անհնար եկամտաբերության վրա՝ դա արդեն նշան է, որ խնդիրն անկնճիռ չէ»,-նշեց նա:
Քաղաքագետի խոսքով, այսօր աշխարհում բազում խոշոր նախագծեր են իրականացվում, որոնք անգամ վնասաբեր են ֆինանսական կամ ներդրումային առումով եւ կամ որոնք առհավետ դոտացիաներով են աշխատելու, բայց ունեն ռազմավարական կարեւորություն, եւ պետությունները գնում են դրանց՝ հասկանալով հարցի գինը: «Իրան-Հայաստան, կամ Հայաստանի տարածքով տրանզիտային գազամուղը չի կարող ձեռնտու չլինել Հայաստանին. եւ նախեւառաջ՝ քաղաքականապես: Նման կարեւորագույն խնդիրների ֆինանսական կարեւորության գործակիցը չնչին է՝ եթե համեմատենք ռազմավարական գործակցի հետ: Պետք է հուսալ, որ Հայաստանն, այնուամենայնիվ, ուժ կգտնի հաղթահարելու կողմնակի խոչընդոտները եւ գոնե հնարավոր գազամուղի հարցում կդիվերսիֆիկացնի իր կենսական կարեւորության այս ոլորտը: Ինչ վերաբերում է ժամկետներին, ապա սա ընդամենը գաղափար է դեռեւս: Իսկ այս երկրում՝ ինչպես ամենուր արեւելքում՝ գաղափարից մինչ իրականություն տասնամյակներ կարող են անցնել»,-իր խոսքն ամփոփեց Հայկ Ա. Մարտիրոսյանը:
