Բնապահպան, «Էկոլուր» տեղեկատվական կազմակերպության նախագահ Ինգա Զարաֆյանը, անդրառնալով հարցին՝ որքա՞ն ժամանակահատվածում հնարավոր կլինի ինչ-որ չափով վերականգնել Խոսրովի անտառում տեղի ունեցած հրդեհի վնասները, Past.am-ի հետ զրույցում նշեց, որ դժվար է պատասխանել այդ հարցին:
 
 
Ըստ նրա՝ այս պահին այնտեղ չի կարելի անել ծառատունկ կամ մարդկային որևէ անգրագետ միջամտություն, անտառը պետք է ինքնավերականգնման ճանապարհ անցնի:
 
Ինգա Զարաֆյանը տեղեկացրեց նաև, որ այդ ուղղությամբ ուսումասիրություններ է անում Վայրի բնության հիմնադրամը:
 
Բնապահպանն ընդգծում է՝ պետք է լայնացվի արգելոցի շուրջ բուֆերային գոտին և պահպանությունն իրականացվի ավելի խիստ:
 
Մեր հարցին՝ պետական գերատեսչություններն ադեկվա՞տ էին ստեղծված իրավիճակին, տիկին Զարաֆյանը պատասխանեց. «Իրավիճակը շատ բարդ էր, նրանք շատ բաներ էին անում: Այս շրջանում նաև Արտավանի անտառն է այրվում: Ես չեմ վերցնի ինձ վրա պատասխանատվություն և ադեկվատության հարցում գնահատական չեմ տա: Խոսքս վերաբերում է ԱԻՆ-ին, Բնապահպանության նախարարությունը: Հեռուստատեսությամբ հաղորդվում էր հրդեհավտանգ իրավիճակի մասին: Տարածքային կառավարման նախարարությունն էլ պետք է միջոցներ ձեռնարկեր, զգուշացներ համայնքների ղեկավարներին: Ֆիննախը պետք է միջամտեր, Առողջապահության նախարարության կազմակերպվածությունը կարող էր ավելի բարձր լինել: Առանց ռուսական ինքնաթիռների օգնության դժվար կլիներ: Նման տարածքի համար այդ ի՞նչ տեխնիկա պետք է լիներ: Մեքենա չի մտնում այնտեղ: Տասնվեց թռիչքին ոչինչ չէր փոխարինի»:
