Թրամփը հավելյալ 4.000 հոգանոց զորք կուղարկի Աֆղանստան՝ ահաբեկիչների դեմ պայքարի համար

Միացյալ Նահանգների նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հայտարարել է, որ կավելացնի Աֆղանստանում տեղակայված զորքերի թվաքանակը՝ խոստանալով ջախջախիչ հաղթանակ տանել «Թալիբան» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման նկատմամբ:
Ինչպես նշում է Reuters-ը, 71-ամյա ղեկավարը պատրաստվում է երկրի ռազմական գերատեսչության ղեկավար Ջեյմս Մեթիսին կարգադրել 4.000 հոգանոց զորք ուղարկել Աֆղանստան:
«Մենք կսպանենք ահաբեկիչներին: Եթե մենք արագ զորքերը դուրս բերենք Աֆղանստանից, դա կլինի անընդունելի և բարենպաստ միջավայր կստեղծի ահաբեկիչների համար կրկին տարածվելու առումով»,-հայտարարել է Թրամփը Վաշինգտոնի մոտ գտնվող ռազմաբազայից հեռուստատեսային ելույթի ժամանակ:
Թրամփն ասել է, որ Աֆղանստանում գործող ահաբեկիչները պետք է իմանան, որ «աշխարհում չկա թաքնվելու այնպիսի վայր, որտեղ ԱՄՆ-ի ձեռքերը չեն կարող հասնել»:
Միևնույն ժամանակ, Միացյալ Նահանգների նախագահը չի մանրամասնել զորքն Աֆղանստան ուղարկելու հստակ ժամկետների մասին: Հայտնի է, որ այժմ ԱՄՆ-ն Աֆղանստանում տեղակայել է 8.400 հոգանոց զորք:
Reuters-ը հավելում է, որ ելույթի ընթացքում Թրամփը կտրուկ քննադատել է Պակիստանին՝ նշելով, որ այդ երկիրն աջակցում է ահաբեկիչներին, իր տարածքում նրանց ապաստան է տալիս ու չի օգնում Աֆղանստանում նրանց դեմ պայքարին:
Հայտնի է, որ ԱՄՆ-ի գլխավորած կոալիցիան Աֆղանստան է ներխուժել 2001թ. սեպտեմբերի 11-ին Նյու Յորքում իրականացված ահաբեկչությունից հետո: Ամերիկյան ուժերը տապալել են իսլամիստական կառավարությանը, որն աջակցում էր ահաբեկչության կազմակերպիչ «Ալ Քաիդա» խմբավորման գրոհայիններին: Նշվում է, որ Աֆղանստան ներխուժումից հետո ամերիկյան բանակն ունեցել է մոտ 2.400 զոհ:
Նշենք, որ Վաշինգտոնի մոտակայքում գտնվող Ֆորտ-Մայեր ռազմաբազայում ունեցած ելույթի ժամանակ Միացյալ Նահանգների նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հայտարարել է նաև, որ Վաշինգտոնն «այլևս չի օգտագործի ամերիկյան զինված ուժերն այլ երկրներում ժողովրդավարության հաստատման համար»:
