Գերմանիայի արտգործնախարար Զիգմար Գաբրիելն ու արդարադատության նախարար Հայկո Մաասը կոչ են անում առավել զգույշ լինել, որպեսզի երկրի տարածքում գործող մզկիթները չհայտնվեն Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի օգտին տարվող քաղաքական քարոզչության ազդեցության տակ։ Այդ մասին նրանք խոսել են գերմանական Spiegel պարբերականի համար գրված հատուկ հոդվածում:
Նախարարներն ուշադրություն են հրավիրել այն խնդրի վրա, որ Գերմանիայի բյուջեից այլևս չպետք է գումարներ տրամադրվեն այն մզկիթների ծախսերի համար, որոնք էրդողանամետ քարոզներ կարող են իրականացնել:
Գերմանացի քաղաքական գործիչները փաստել են, որ հաճախ էրդողանամետ այդ ուժերը, որոնց թվում քիչ չեն հոգևորականները, մոլորության մեջ են գցում գերմանաբնակ թուրքերին և քարոզում այնպիսի բաներ, որոնք իրականում կապ չունեն Թուրքիայում տիրող իրավիճակի հետ:
Մաասն ու Գաբրիելը նաև համոզված են, որ Գերմանիան պետք է պաշտպանվի ոչ միայն մի շարք թուրքական կազմակերպությունների գործողություններից, այլև «քրեական, ահաբեկչական ու ծայրահեղական խմբավորումների ազդեցությունից», որոնց թվում է նաև «Քուրդիստանի աշխատավորական կուսակցություն» խմբավորումը:
