Ըմբշամարտի աշխարհի առաջնությունում Հայաստանը երկու ոսկի մեդալ է շահել: Օլիմիպիական չեմպիոն Արթուր Ալեքսանյանն ու Մաքսիմ Մանուկյանն իրենց քաշային կարգերում հաղթող են ճանաչվել: Լուրն անշուշտ ուրախալի է: Բայց ինչպես սովորաբար, այնպես էլ հիմա, մեդալն ունի նաև հակառակ երես: Ո՞րն է այդ երեսը: Երբ Ալեքսանյանը օլիմպիական չեմպիոն էր դառնում Սերժ և Վիգեն Սարգսյանները, Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը ՝ Ռիոյում, ամբողջ հայ ազգը ՝ Հայաստանում և Հայաստանից դուրս օրեր շարունակ ցնծում էր: Հետո բնականաբար Ալեքսանյանին դիմավորեցին, պատվեցին, պետական պարգևների արժանացրին: Նույն իրավիճակն է նաև ծանրամարտի դեպքում, որտեղ Հայաստանը փոփոխական, բայց հաջողություններ է գրանցում:

Սակայն, սա չի կարող փաստել այն մասին, որ մենք սպորտային երկիր ենք: Հայաստանը համակարգային իմաստով չունի սպորտային միջինացված համակարգ: Կարող է հարց ծագել, ինչու հենց միջինացված, երբ մենք օլիմպիական չեմպիոններ ենք ունենում: Միջինացված, որովհետև ավելի է լավ ընդհանուր սպորտային զարգացվածություն ունենալ երկրով մեկ, քան չորս-հինգ տարին մեկ տալ չեմպիոն ՝ անհատական ու ոչ այդքան պոպուլյար սպորտաձևերում:

Եվ սա այն դեպքում, երբ հենց այսօր ադրբեջանական Ղարաբաղը պայքարելու է չեմպիոնների լիգայի խմբային փուլ մտնելու համար: Կարիք չա ասելու, թե ինչ մեծ է համաշխարհային ֆուտբոլային լսարանը, մանավանդ, երբ խոսքը գնում է Չեմպիոնների լիգայի մասին: Սրան հավելենք, որ համաշխարհային ֆուտբոլային գրանդ ակումբներից մի քանիսն արդեն Ադրբեջանում սեփական ֆուտբոլային դպրոցներն են հիմնադրել: Եվ դա արել են ոչ թե ադրբեջանցիների ֆուտբոլային ազգ լինելու, այլ Արբեջան պետության կողմից ֆուտբոլը որպես քարոզչական գործիք օգտագործելու և այդ ուղղությամբ գումարներ ներդնելու հետևանքով: 

Իսկ մենք ուրախանում ենք անհատական, համակարգ չպահանջող սպորտաձևերում հաղթանակների համար: Եվ նաև երբեմն շախմատ ենք խաղում: Բարոյական հաղթանակները մեզ բավարար են, ամբոխահաճո երևույթների հետևից ընկնելու հավես Հայաստանը չունի:
