Ծանրորդ Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանը դարձավ Ունիվերսիադայի չեմպիոն

Օլիմպիական խաղերի փոխչեմպիոն ծանրորդ Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանը դարձավ Ուսանողական խաղերի չեմպիոն: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` Թայփեյում ընթացող Համաշխարհային Ունիվերսիադայում պայքարի մեջ մտան 105 կգ քաշային ծանրորդները: Հայաստանը ներկայացնող Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանը պոկում վարժությունում գլխավերևում պահեց 180 կգ: Երկրորդ և երրորդ մոտեցման ժամանակ օլիմպիական փոխչեմպիոնը չբարձրացրեց 192 կգ:
Հրում վարժության առաջին մոտեցման ժամանակ Մարտիրոսյանը չբարձրացրեց 220 կգ: Երկրորդ մոտեցմամբ Սիմոնը գլխավերևում պահեց 221 կգ: Այնուհետ Մարտիրոսյանը անհաջող մոտեցավ 233 կգ: Մարտիրոսյանը երկամարտում հավաքեց 401 կգ և դարձավ Ուսանողական խաղերի չեմպիոն:
Նախօրեին Ուսանողական խաղերի փոխչեմպիոն էր դարձել ծանրորդ Անդրանիկ Մանուկյանը: Մարմնամարզիկ Արթուր Թովմասյանը հաղթել էր օղակների վարժությունում, , իսկ թաեքվոնդիստ Սերգեյ Վարդազարյանը դարձել է բրոնզե մեդալակիր:
