«Որոշել էի չնշել տարեդարձս, առանձնահատուկ պլաններ չունեի։ Դավթի հետ պլանավորել էինք երեկոյան դուրս գալ զբոսնելու։ Հետո պարզվեց, որ նա մեծ ծնունդ էր կազմակերպել և Երևանի ժամանցի վայրերից մեկում հավաքվել էին ընկերներս ու հարազատներս։ Ինձ համար զարմանալի չէր, որ Դավիթն այդպես իդեալական էր կազմակերպել այն, քանի որ նա սիրում է անակնկալներ անել։ Դա իր մոտ շատ լավ է ստացվում` չնայած ռոմանտիկ մարդ չէ։ Մտքովս անգամ չէր անցնում, որ նա ինձ այդ օրն ամուսնության առաջարկություն կանի։ Երեկոյի վերջում, երբ բարձրացանք տանիք` տորթը կտրելու, պարզվեց, որ ոչ միայն ծննդյանս օրն է, այլև` նշանադրության։ Շատ քիչ մարդիկ են կարողանում  բառերով ձևակերպել անձնական ապրումները, կարծում եմ,  ես էլ կդժվարանամ։ Մինչև ուշ գիշեր ընկերներով շարունակել ենք նշել օրը, առավոտյան արթնացել ենք գլխացավով, քնաթաթախ ու չենք հասկացել, թե երեկ ինչ արագ կատարվեց այդ ամենը։ Մի բան հաստատ է, երեկ իմ լավագույն ծննդյան օրն էր, որովհետև էմոցիաներս շատ–շատ էր։ Եթե ես նախապես իմանայի, որ ինչ–որ բան է սպասվում, հնարավոր է, այդ ապրումները չունենայի»,– ասաց Սոնան։
