Ամեն ինչ «մարդկանցից ավելի վատ» չանելու ձգտումը

Հարսանիքի վարկերը, որոնք երիտասարդ ընտանիքը տարիներ շարունակ վճարում է։ iPhone են գնում, սակայն ամենաէժան սնունդն են օգտագործում։ Թանկարժեք մուշտակ են պահանջում, երբ բնակարանը շուրջ 20 տարի է, չի վերանորոգվել։ Այդ ամենը բացատրվում է «մյուսներից վատը չլիենլու» ցանկությամբ։ Հենց շրջապատի կարծիքը, այլ ոչ թե սեփական հարմարավետություններ է մարդկանց դրդում անիմաստ ծախսեր անել։ Բայց արդյոք հանուն բարեկամների կարծիքի արժե՞ նման զրկանքներ կրել։ Աղքատ մարդիկ չեն կասկածում դրանում։ Աշխարհում ամենաշատը նրանք վախենում են, որ իրենց աղքատ կհամարեն։

Փողերը ցուցադրաբար վատնելը

Մոտավորապես այդ նույն պատճառով՝ գումար ունենալով մարդիկ աշխատում են դրանք ցուցադրաբար ծախսել՝ սեւ իկրա, թանկարժեք շամպայն, միլիոնավոր կարմիր վարդեր... Նման վարքագիծը ոչ այլ ինչ է, քան աղքատ մանկության փոխհատուցում...

«Ունեցած միջոցներով» ապրել չկարողանալը, փողերը վատնելը

Ինձ զարմացնում են նախկին որոշ հայտնի կանանց պատմությունները, որոնց նրանց օլիգարխ ամուսինները դուրս են բերել աղքատության ճիրաններից։ Որոշ ժամանակ նրանք փայլում էին՝ զարմացնելով բնական մորթիների եւ ադամանդների քանակությամբ։ Սակայն ամուսնալուծությունից հետո նրանք աղքատացել են՝ մի քանի տարում քամուն տալով ամուսնուց ստացած միջոցներն ու նվերները։ Կյանքի մեծ մասն աղքատ ապրած մարդը գործնականում չի կարողանում ապրել ունեցած միջոցներով։  Նա կամ չափից շատ է տնտեսում, կամ չափից շատ վատնում։

Թանկարժեք ապրանքանիշերի, ժամացույցների, կոսմետիկայի սիրահար լինելը

Աղքատ մանկության ամենաակնհայտ նշանը ապրանքանիշերի՝ աբսուրդի հասնող «երկրպագությունն է»։ Հասկանալի է, որ ավելի հաճել է կրել որակյալ պայուսակ, որակյալ կոշիկներ եւ հանգնել բնական մորթուց հագուստներ։ Սակայն դրա վրա կենտրոնանալը ծիծաղելի է։ Բացի ապրանքանիշից՝ էական են նաեւ գեղեցկությունը, հարմարավետությունը, հաճելի հիշողությունները՝ կապված տվյալ իրի հետը... Հարուստ մարդը չի վախենում էժանագին մարզաշապիկով հայտնվել փողոցում կամ անընդհատ նույն կոստյումը հագնել։ Միայն ապրանքանիշերի վրա կենտրոնանալը թերարժեքության բարդույթ ունեցողների ուղեկից աստղն է։

Շքեղ իրերի ընտրությունը թանկարժեք է

Ոսկեզօծ iPhone, թանկարժեք կրկայրիչ, ոսկե մատանի յուրաքանչյուր մատին։ Այդ ամենը կոչված է շրջապատողների վրա տպավորություն գործելու։ Սակայն ժամանակակից աշխարհում նման բաները գնահատում են միայն արեւելյան արքայազնները։ Մյուսներն ընտրում են մինիմալիզմը եւ իրերը տեղին օգտագործելը։

«Ցուցադրությունը՝ գումարից թանկ» կարգախոսը

Ամսական ծախսերի կտրուկ սահմանափակումը՝ հանուն «վերջին» փողերով գնված «ցուցադրական իրը», ֆինանսական կարգավիճակով մտահոգվածության մասին է հիշեցնում։ Ինչո՞ւ պետք է յուրաքանչյուրին ապացուցես, որ քեզ մոտ ամեն ինչ լավ է, եթե դա իրոք այդպես է։
