Թուրքիայի վարչապետ Բինալի Յըլդըրըմը և երկրի արտգործնախար Մևլութ Չավուշօղլուն պատասխանել են Գերմանիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Զիգմար Գաբրիելի այն հայտարարությանը, թե նախագահ Էրդողանի օրոք Թուրքիան երբեք ԵՄ-ի անդամ չի կարող դառնալ: Ըստ «Haberturk»-ի՝ Թուրքիայի վարչապետը, մասնավորապես ասել է. «Թուրքիային ուղղություն ցույց տալու փոխարեն, թող իր երկրի գործերով զբաղվի: Ոչ-ոք իրավունք չունի միջամտել Թուրքիայի ներքին գործերին»: Լեհաստանում գտնվող Թուրքիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Մևլութ Չավուշօղլուն նույնպես արձագանքել է Զիգմարի հայտարարությանը: «Գերմանիան իր հայտարարություններով չափն անցնում է: Ընտրությունները կգան և կանցնեն, իսկ բարեկամությունը մնայուն է, խնդրում եմ ուշադրություն դարձնեք դրան: Ընտրություններից առաջ պոպուլիստական հայտարարությունների կարիք չկա»,-ասել է նա: Սեպտեմբերի 24-ին Գերմանիայում տեղի են ունենալու խորհրդարանական ընտրություններ: Հիշեցնենք, որ ներկա պահին թուրք-գերմանական հարաբերությունները ճգնաժամային փուլում են: Գերմանիան խստորեն դատապարտում է Թուրքիայում Գերմանիայի քաղաքացիների ձերբակալման և կալանավորման դեպքերը, իսկ Թուրքիան մեղադրում է Գերմանիային՝ հեղաշրջման փորձի ենթադրյալ կազմակերպիչների հետապնդման գործում բավարար աջակցություն չցուցաբերելու մեջ:
