«Խոսրովի անտառ» պետական արգելոցի  և ՀՀ բնապահպանության նախարարության մյուս ստորաբաժանումների աշխատակիցները օգոստոսի 27-ի երեկոյան, հրդեհված տարածքներում հետմարման աշխատանքների ընթացքում, իրականացրել են դիտարկումներ հատուկ պահպանվող  տարածքի բոլոր տեղամասերում, որի ընթացքում, օգոստոսի 28-ի գիշերվա Ժամը 2:30-ին արգելոցի տարածքի Կաքավաբերդ տեղամասով անցնող ճանապարհին նկատել են Նիվա մակնիշի սպիտակ գույնի ավտոմեքենա, որում հայտնաբերվել է  «կարմրախայտ» տեսակի 533 հատ ձուկ, մեկ մարտկոց, երկու հոսանքի ձևափոխիչ և ձկնորսական այլ պարագաներ: Մեքենայում եղել են ՀՀ Կոտայքի մարզի Գառնի գյուղի բնակիչներ, 1978թ. ծնված Ն. Վ.-ն և 1977թ. ծնված Վ. Պ.-ն: Փաստի մասին տեղեկացվել է ՀՀ ոստիկանության Արարատի տարածքային բաժին: ՀՀ բնապահպանության նախարարության և ոստիկանության աշխատակիցների կողմից կատարվել է առգրավված ձկան և որսամիջոցների հաշվառում: Հաշվարկվում է շրջակա միջավայրին հասցված վնասի չափը: Այս մասին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ բնապահպանության նախարարության տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի բաժնից:

Նախնական տվյալներով ձկնորսությունն իրականացվել է առանց ձկնորսության թույլտվության և անթույլատրելի եղանակով` էլեկտրահարման միջոցով: Ոստիկանության հետ համատեղ կազմվել են արձանագրություններ, նյութեր և փոխանցվել քննչական մարմիններին` համապատասխան քննություն իրականացնելու նպատակով: Քննության արդյունքում կհստակեցվեն իրավախախտման վայրը և իրավախախտների ամբողջական շրջանակը:
