Գերմանիայի խորհրդարանի կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին բանաձևի ընդունման հարցում մեծ ներդրում ունեցած Կանաչների կուսակցության պատգամավոր Ջեմ Օզդեմիրը մեկնաբանել է Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի՝ որոշ գերմանական կուսակցությունների ձայն չտալու կոչը:
Հիշեցնենք, որ գերմանաբնակ թուրքերին ուղղված կոչում Էրդողանը պահանջել էր ընտրությունների ժամանակ չքվեարկել նաև Կանաչների կուսակցության օգտին՝ անվանելով նրանց «Թուրքիայի թշնամի»:
«Այդ ցուցակում լինելը մեզ համար մեծ պատիվ է: Եթե Էրդողանը մեր անունը չտար՝ կտխրեի: Եթե նա մեզ դեմ է, դա նշանակում է, որ մենք ճիշտ ճանապարհի վրա ենք», - ասել է Բունդեսթագի թուրք-չերքեզական ծագում ունեցող պատգամավորը:
Նա նաև նկատել է, որ Էրդողանի «սև ցուցակում» չկան գերմանական ծայրահեղ աջակողմյան, ազգայնական կուսակցությունները՝ չնայած դրանք առանձնանում են մահմեդականների և առանձին դեպքերում հենց թուրքերի դեմ իրենց թշնամանքով:
«Ամեն ինչ ակնհայտ է. աշխարհի բոլոր ազգայնականները՝ լինեն գերմանացի, թե թուրք, շատ մոտ են իրար իրենց աշխարհայացքով», - ասել է Օզդեմիրը՝ ազգայնական անվանելով նաև Թուրքիայում Էրդողանի հիմնած ու ղեկավարած կուսակցությանը:
