ԵԼՔ-ը կորցնում է ունեցածը

News.am կայքի ֆեյսբուքյան հրապարակումներից մեկի մեկնաբանություններում ակնհայտ երևում է այն պատճառը, թե ինչու այդպես էլ ԵԼՔ-ի վերջին շրջանի աղմկոտ նախաձեռնությունները քննարկվում, բայց չեն դառնում հասարակական օրակարգ, չեն վերածվում հանրային օրախնդրի ու ձեռք չեն բերում հողեղենություն: Պատճառն այդ ԵԼՔ-ի թիրախավորած խնդիրների երկրորդկան լինելն է քաղաքացիների տարբեր շերտերի համար:
Չենք ժխտում, որ կան մարդիկ, ում համար ԵԼՔ-ի նախաձեռնությունները արդիական են, բայց նրանք մեծամասնություն չեն նույնիսկ ԵԼՔ էլեկտորատի կազմում: Նորաստեղծ դաշինքի անդամներն այս իրողությանն արձագանքում են հայ առաջադիմական հատվածին բնորոշ սնոբիզմով, որի տողատակում այն մտայնությունն է, որ մարդիկ չեն հասկանում անկախության իմաստն ու սիմվոլների նշանակությունը, իսկ ԵԼՔ-ը հասկանում է և բերում է այդ փոփոխությունը:
Խնդիրը այստեղ ծագում է, սակայն, ոչ թե ԵԼՔ-ի առաջնային թիրախների ու հասարակության համար առաջնային խնդիրների տարբեր ընկլումներից, այլ դրանց միջև ընկած տարբերություններից: ԵԼՔ-ում այդպես էլ չեն հասկանում, եթե իրենց ընտրել են, ապա ինչու են հիմա քննադատում: Քաղաքացիներն էլ, որոնք ընտրել են ԵԼՔ-ին, չեն հասկանում, թե ինչու է ԵԼՔ-ը զբաղվում, իրենց կարծիքով, երկրորդական խնդիրներով:
Իրականում, սակայն, ԵԼՔ-ին, ինչպես և մյուս բոլոր խորհրդարանական ընդդիմություններին, ընտրել են ոչ թե ծրագրային ու արժեքային որևէ կոնկրետ կետի, այլ թարմ, նոր, մյուսներից տարբեր ու լավը, գունավոր լինելու համար: Եվ ընթանալով նախորդ ընդդիմությունների ավանդույթով, ԵԼՔ-ը չի փորձել փոքրամասնությունից դառնալ մեծամասնություն, ստեղծել ուժային բալանս քաղաքական դաշտում, այլ ընտրել է հեշտ ճանապարհը ՝ խաղալ պոպուլիզմի վրա:
Սխալմամբ, սակայն, ԵԼՔ-ը շփոթել է պոպուլիզմի բովանդակությունը: Սոցիալական վատ վիճակի վրա խաղարկելու փոխարեն, ԵԼՔ-ն անցել է էսթետիկական պոպուլիզմի, մասամբ նաև տեղավորվելով այն նոր միջազգային թրենդի մեջ, որ թելադրվում էր Թրամփի նախընտրական ու հետընտրական շրջաններում, երբ ամբողջ աշխարհում քաղաքական դիսկուրսը պոպուլիզմի նոր չափաբաժնով էր լցվում:
ԵԼՔ-ի անհաջողության պատճառը ոչ թե այն է, որ նրանք պոպուլիզմով են զբաղվում: Նրանք պոպուլիզմով զբաղվել են միշտ ու, ըստ սահմանման, այլ բանով չէին էլ կարող զբաղվել: ԵԼՔ-ի անհաջողության պատճառն այն է, որ նրանց պոպուլիզմն ու հասարակության մոտ պահանջարկ վայելող պոպուլիզմը տարբերվում են բովանդակությամբ:
