Ճապոնիայի փոխվարչապետ, ֆինանսների նախարար Տարո Ասոն ներողություն է խնդրել Ադոլֆ Հիտլերի մասին արտահայտած բառերի համար, գրում է The Asahi Simbun գործակալությունը:
«Իմ ելույթից կարելի էր եզրակացնել, որ ես Հիտլերին համարում եմ խիստ բացասական կերպար, իսկ նրա կատարած քայլերը՝ սխալ: Հիտլերի մասին իմ բերած օրինակն անընդունելի էր», - ասել է փոխվարչապետը և ներողություն խնդրել:
Նախօրեին Ասոն հայտնել էր, որ Հիտլերն ունեցել է արդարացված դրդապատճառներ Երկրորդ համաշխարհայինի ժամանակ միլիոնավար մարդկանց սպանության համար:
«Կարևորն արդյունքն է: Որքան էլ ճիշտ լինեին նրա դրդապատճառները՝ սպանելով մի քանի միլիոն մարդու՝ Հիտլերը սխալ է գործել», - ասել էր Ասոն:
Դեռևս 4 տարի առաջ ճապոնացի պաշտոնյան հայտարարել էր, որ իրենց երկիրը կարող է ուսումնասիրել Երրորդ ռեյխի սահմանադրական փոփոխությունների փորձը: Ավելի ուշ նա կրկին ստիպված էր եղել ներողություն խնդրել իր ասածների համար:
Հիտլերի մասին հակասական հայտարարություններ էր արել նաև Ճապոնիայի բանկի տնօրենների խորհրդի անդամ Յուտակա Խարադան, որը Հիտլերի տնտեսական բարեփոխումներն անվանել էր շատ էֆեկտիվ, սակայն նաև ընդունել, որ դրանք հանգեցրել են ողբերգական հետևանքների:
