Շինհրապարակում տրիցերատոպսի յուրօրինակ մնացորդներ են հայտնաբերվել

Շինարարները, որոնք Կոլորադոյում կառուցում են ոստիկանության և հրշեջ ծառայության համար անհրաժեշտ շինություն, պատահաբար գտել են այնպիսի յուրօրինակ դինոզավրի մնացորդներ, որին շատ լավ ծանոթ են «Յուրայի ժամանակաշրջանի այգին» ֆիլմի երկրպագուները:
Այս ամռան ընթացքում աշխատավորները շինության հիմքն էին դնում, երբ հանդիպեսցին չտեղաշարժվող մի օբյեկտի: Երբ էքսկավատորը հանդիպես այդ կոպիտ օբյեկտին, շինարարները միանգամից գլխի ընկան, որ դա կարող է հինժամանակների մնացորդ լինել և վայրկենական կապ հաստատեցին Դենվերի բնության և գիտության թանգարանի հետ:
Շտապ դեպքի վայր հասավ Ջո Սերտիչը՝ թանգարանի դինոզավրերի գծով կուրատորը, ով, իհարկե, առաջին իսկ հայացքից ճանաչեց տրիցերատոպսին: Եթե ավելի հստակ լինենք, դա գետաձիանման, խոտակեր կենդանի էր երեք եղջյուրներով՝ ծանոթ դինոզավրերի բոլոր սիրահարներին:
«Երբ ես մտա շինհրապարակ, միանգամից հասա, թե ինչ հրաշալի գտածո է սա», - պատմում է Ջո Սերտիչը:
Տրիցերատոպսերը կշռում են շուրջ 6 տոննա, իսկ նրանց հասակը հասնում էր 3 մետրի: Այս արարածները «թափառել են» ողջ Հյուսիսային Ամերիկայում շուրջ 66 մլն տարի առաջ, ի դեպ, Թի-ռեքսսերի հետ միաժամանակ:
Սերտիչի խոսքերով Դենվերի շրջակայքում դրանց մնացորդները գտնելն անհնարին է, քանի որ հողի մեծ մասը պատված է մայթերով, ավտոկայանատեղիներով և այլ կառույցներով:
«Այս վայրերը ուսումնասիրել են շատ անգամներ, սակայն ոչինչ չեն գտել: Տեսե՛ք, թե ինչ հսկայական եղջյուրներ ունի»:
Շինարարական աշխատանքները դադարեցվել են, իսկ Սերտիչն ու իր թիմը մանրամասնորեն ուսումնասիրել են ոսկորների մնացորդները: Նրանք դեռ շարունակում են որոնումները:
«Մենք պատրաստվում ենք կմախքը դուրս բերել գետնի տակից, մաքրել այն և տեղավորել Դենվերի թանգարանում՝ գեղեցիկ, նոր ու փայլուն ցուցափեղկի հետևում: Ես չեմ դիմանում. ցանկանում եմ որքան հնարավոր է շուտ ուսումնասիրել ոսկորները: Ուրախությունից յոթերորդ երկնքում եմ», - ոգևորված պատմում է Ջո Սերտիչը:
